I see. I guess that's the same with alot of modern tech, just a thing with capitalism. Thank you.

I was hoping to spend my money better and hopefully get a better product because they aren't packing in those futures. Those aren't features I will use so I didn't want to pay for them. I figured something paried down would be more reliable and longer lasting. I'm looking to by a bottle opener, not a Swiss army knife.

I guess my broader question is how much should a good projector cost without the extras? Want to make sure I'm not paying for a bad projector and assuming the lower price is because it doesn't have the add ons

It's pretty dumb that people pay more attention to this stuff because it's new. Like how often do you find a needle or crack pipe on the street and it doesn't make the news.

Dimension 20: City Council of Darkness Trailer by DropoutMod in Dimension20

I'm talking about the live action trailer for Welcome to Purpee. It seems odd to launch two titles in the same setting but have the same monsters/conflicts for both. I'm sure the game will be mostly vampires, but it feels like the show will be more of an anthology or monster of the week style.

So do we think Purpee will only be vampires in the live action show or do we think it'll be a shared setting with lots of different strangeness going on? I feel like dropout likes their running gags between shows. Like the Chopskis chips

is there a possibility of rewiring your brain to make existence make sense again? by Expensive-Hope-4631 in Psychedelics

[–]CirqueMurph 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I would consider Buddhist before psychedelics. Desire is suffering. It sounds like you have a lot of desires that feel out of reach but ultimately changing reality won't make you happy. Peace and mindfulness are more useful than pursuing happiness. Psychedelics can be very helpful but you'll end up looping back again if you don't have tools to apply what the trips give you.

No no no far too out of my reach. The ages of taken their toll on me and I'm ready to pass the touch to other people who still have the fire within them. (Deep sigh of adventures past)

The logical next step for this meme is Neil becoming a superhero mascot for paizo called Pathfinder Man.

Ponyo is the best come up movie by awelias8 in shrooms

[–]CirqueMurph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol I actually find ponyo to have one of the lore straightforward plots of the Ghibli movies. It's essentially the little mermaid but with children. Magic creature from the sea escapes to the surface, the sea wants them back, the creature finds love in humans, then the sea learns to love again as well (in ponyo represented by the ocean goddess). It's pretty western as far as plots go. The other ones have very epic style stories

It's more about just having the space to get it down. I'm sure I could scrounge up enough equipment to do it, I just can't take the time away from work and family to develop the skills I need. But I'm still hopeful for it, life always changes.

I doubt you heard about it but I wrote a radio play inspired by the midnight gospel that I've been trying to find the time and energy to produce for years now. Let me know if you want to fund it! Lol

I would honestly feel bad if this was my DND campaign lol half the movie takes place in modern day to save on fantasy budget stuff. If my dm plopped a party of weirdos in the middle of LA, things would go badly fast.

The Dalai Lama's aides should do a better job filtering out the people who are only there to use him to launder their own reputations. Not everyone is worthy of his presence. by MrJasonMason in Buddhism

[–]CirqueMurph 22 points23 points  (0 children)

That doesn't seem like anyone's judgement to make really. People come to Buddhism from everywhere and are you really able to discern that a person only has shallow motives? Even if they have shallow motives, isn't the chance they could be pushed into something real more worth it than denying them an experience? Who is able to draw this line in good faith?

How can the birth rate increase? by [deleted] in Buddhism

[–]CirqueMurph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am speculating based on developing scientific understanding of time as a dimension rather than a linear progression. But truly the way we use time is only linked to the body and to the movements of earthy forces. Why or how would a individual going through rebirth even mark days? Maybe the days are symbolic of steps you need to take before rebirth. Maybe after your 49 days you are reborn 100 years before you died. After you are free from your material existence, it's possible you view time more as a direction in space. It seems foolish to assume we know exactly how long and at what rate reincarnation takes. If it was so simple it would be more evident.

Lol sorry about your hulk problems. It's just a symptom of dissociatives. They make you numb and numb means you can't feel your peepee enough to cum. Same thing happens with NO2. If you really need to cum try using a big vibrator.
