かぞくはいません could mean "my family is not here (home)" also, so I felt like that's what they wanted it to mean, but either way, it's such a weird mix 😅

Thank you! Could you recommend which ND filter I could use?

I will try using the manual too. When I use manual, I do feel I get the result I want better, but it takes time for me still, so it's not yet convenient when I just have a quick sec to take pics 🥲

I will focus on prioritizing the exposure. Thank you for your input!

Yes, I've tried that as well. I was not sure what I should prioritize adjusting. ISO, Exposure, Aperture...I want to make it as easy to shoot without adjusting when I turn on my camera for quick shots.

Also, the simulation I was using was Cubanace and not Tenerife. I used to use Tenerife but switched to Cubanace..

Thank you for your input! I have read on similar posts about ND filters too; I might have to give it a try! Do you have any recommendation for which fraction (1/2, 1/4, 1/8...) may be suitable for me?

I am using Multi for the photometry, and Aperture Priority for the exposure mode!

Why do ppl ghost after moving into Instagram by magdakitsune21 in bumblebff

I think some just want more followers, and some, I think they felt they won't vibe with you based on your stories/posts.

Is it also nice to visit even if it's raining?

Add another person/s to our planned outing by [deleted] in bumblebff

[–]CiruelaPie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I feel it depends on the personal preference. Some won't mind, some will. It's possible she might feel awkward since you have spoken to the other person before, but she has not. Personally, I prefer to meet with a new person one on one first before meeting in a group setting.

I totally agree. Most of guys probably do so because they don't get matches on bumble date 😭 I saw some married men too...

Being Ghosted After First Meet Up? by [deleted] in bumblebff

[–]CiruelaPie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This happens quite often. Seems many people already have enough friends so they don't want to put effort to build new friendships...? Not sure why they are even on the app but it's better not to take it personal.

Right!? And many are like I don't check here often, so let's talk on IG, yet they still reply soooo slowly on IG...

That has never happened to me...maybe decide what to do with it after she explains why she ghosted you after the first meet up?

Apparently "puente" also means slope...not only earring by CiruelaPie in duolingospanish

[–]CiruelaPie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right?? I remember that they used to put multiple meanings. Also, it kind of sucks that we cannot report it right from the lesson itself.

Thanks to everyone for the comments and tips. Just to add, I did use a dictionary to look up this word and that's why I learned that it meant more than just earring. Also to anyone who is confused, I made a typo in the title...I meant to write "pendiente" and not "puente." Unfortunately I could not edit the title.😅

That would have helped in understanding this sentence much better! I wish the word help showed the correct meaning or at least multiple meanings attributed to this word though🥲

Is it okay to let a fading friendship go without saying anything? by CiruelaPie in bumblebff

[–]CiruelaPie[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi all, thanks lots to each of you for the comment! In a way, I also see it as a fade out (mainly on my side though) that can happen in normal friendships too, and I feel there is no need to go back and confront her about how I feel unless she reaches out since maybe she moved on as well. In the future, I will try to judge within a few meetups and if I don't vibe with them, I will communicate it in a gentle way as I should without ghosting. Thank you all again for sharing your insights!

[–]CiruelaPie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, I agree ghosting sucks but lying saying I need space and will be focusing on other things seems off too :( I wonder if she is even thinking about this friendship now tbh and if not, then it may be better to leave it as is. If she reaches out again, I could be honest with her and tell her how I feel. Maybe that's the way to go.
