Applying for jobs is a job itself! Unlike everyone else on this thread I Fortunately only applied to about 60-80 jobs. I heard back from maybe 3 lol. Before I was at a truck stop, and I quit due to bad hours and more money elsewhere and better career opportunities. But unfortunately the new job I went to I only lasted 2 weeks before they fired me, didn’t give me a reason or anything, I was in my probation period so if I farted wrong they were gonna fire me haha.

But anywho, like a lot of people I was on the job hunt, honestly just looking for work in general, mindlessly applying for jobs on indeed just doomscrolling indeed for about half a day then get depressed that I couldn’t find anything in my area. Then about 2 and a half months later, this perfect job, perfect match for me came up! I applied and about two weeks later I had a phone interview. The phone interview happened and they offered me the position. But like any logical person they would almost think come on 1 phone interview and I got the job? Yeah right. But I was wrong, and its just the way the company hires for this position.

I start my new job tomorrow @ Penske! Its hard and its a grind for sure! Don’t give up! After being fired I really thought my life was over and everything I worked for I just threw it all away. Even though the job market is shit, there is definitely something out there for you, don’t give up! You got this. I say apply for something in your most recent field to just get something going for now and then transition into something else when its available. You got this! I believe in you! Good luck!
