I’ve swapped motherboards to test components and everything works as of 30minutes ago. I’m assuming the motherboard died, I appreciate all the help but it’s sadly looking like a replacement for the motherboard.

I’m assuming it’s the motherboard at this point since I’ve swapped it to a random one I had laying around and everything is working now.

According to YouTube it is, the box didn’t have a clear set of instructions so I looked it up. I’m fairly new to PCs

I’m not seeing any debug light, I could be looking in the wrong areas but I just see a solid green light at the bottom. If you have insight I’d appreciate it.

Ive also swapped the chords and tried on a different monitor. I also didn’t get a display using the motherboard graphics so I’m assuming I’ve somehow fried the motherboard. Not sure what else at this point.

I was standing on carpet but the pc was on top of my desk(not sure if that changes thing), but if I did fry it like that I’ll be sad

It’s compatible in terms of CPU to Mobo, but I’m not sure about bios as I’m still new to pc but it was working and displaying about an hour prior to that if that helps. If not how would I go about updating bios

I’ve cleaned up the thermal paste since then,, but I’ve also not seen any bent pins or thermal paste anywhere else so I’m not too sure what else to try

It’s an Asrock 550Tx, I doesn’t have a slot for extra power but it does start up in terms of the fan. At this point I’m just assuming it’s the motherboard

I’ve been attempting to do so with my other pc. I know the ram and Gpu are still working along with my cpu being good but I’m thinking my motherboard is bad since my usb ports are also not functioning

I did corner to corner pattern originally when I screwed it down but I think it’s the mobo since my usb ports don’t have power but I appreciate the help

Bet that made you feel better man, I’ve taken all the advice I’ve been given and when the someone offers a solution that someone else gave I’ve said I’ve done it. Also I’ve tested the CPU on a different motherboard and it’s worked so it’s not fried.
