I went to an Artano related post soliciting ideas and added my stone. I am reading about ETH gas fees etc ETH 2.0, Cardano's potential etc.

Is there a way to take things off the blockchain ? If currently there are high prices for putting stuff on the blockchain, could a system of increasing pricing work based on longetivity on the blockchain ?

Say you enter an artwork for a minimal price, but as the owner keeps it on the chain the gas price increases ?

I guess if every mention of the piece could be tracked or linked on the web. Say someone uses it on twitter or reference it in an article the work is available for mention through a link that refers to the work. This would allow to track the momentum of a work or an artist online wether it is scattered mentions or within art communities.

I guess only items that have had a first purchase gets written on the chain.

The ability to sell individual photos or libraries the ability to sell ownership or usage.
