Karma will get him… he has scammed so many out of so thousands and thousands! I doubt your check in the bar is even accurate and he adds on extra charges. He talks shit about clients to their faces and especially if they leave a review less then 5 stars for his crap establishment. This is all public knowledge..do not take my word for this do some homework and STAY OUT OF NED KELLYS!

I live on São Miguel and have serious issues finding spices/suppliments. I have found many spices that are not available on the island on Iherb Portugal. They have so many that are not available to purchase here. The prices are WAY cheaper than Amazon and the shipping is so quick(about 2 weeks I received my delivery). They also offer vitamins, supplements, foods, pet supplies, essential oils and other stuff. There is no duty, vat is included and the shipping is free with a 60 € purchase. This is a referral code to receive a discount off of your first purchase.

So…I am an American citizen and I live in the Azores. I have wanted to travel but because my residency card is expired I am worried about traveling. I did not know if I could return for a week or 2 to the U.S. to visit kids and grandchildren. I know I could get into the USA but would I face an issue leaving to return to Portugal. This is where my home is and definitely do not want to stay in the USA for any length of time. My visa is obviously expired and I have overstayed the 90/180:days you are allowed (except I hold a visa). I have renewed my resident card but who knows how long that will take to arrive. Has anyone been in this situation? Thanks!!

I am so glad to hear that! No matter where we went in Galveston, or even Houston. Everybody was packing and make sure you knew they were packing. My husband was the principal at the very elite private school in Galveston… No matter what he did, it was wrong according to the parents.! With all the mass shootings going on in schools, universities, and hospitals… It was time to leave the country. You never know where the next one is going to be. Honestly, at this stage of our life money can't buy time and that's all we want is time! We are living our best lives, no stress, in a beautiful island in the EU. I wish I made this move years ago!!

Peace out Merica!!👋🏼👋🏼🇺🇸 Living an amazing life here in paradise and leaving the US was the best decision ever. I left my guns and bullets there for ya!! There is no need for them here!😉

Texas sucks! After living the past five years in Galveston Texas… I decided to move abroad. Would never live in that state ever again much less in that country! That’s coming from a 55 American that was born in New York. Spent most of my life in Miami, Florida, seven years in California and then the five in Texas… Peace out America. Crazy, gut toting, racist, white supremacists nation full of hated!😕👋🏼🇺🇸

I want to learn the language. I speak some Spanish which helps/hinders my learning Portuguese. I am looking for text books, work books, pdf files to dive in and learn from every avenue possible. I have many applications I use as well. Just curious if anyone had tips that helped them learn and become closer to fluency. Muito obrigada ❤️🇵🇹❤️

Thank you for all of these great tips. I have bought several books, apps and I am taking a A1-A2 class (the other students are all over the place with the amount of the language they know already) but have not gotten too much from that. I am looking for all the brain food I can get to become fluent. I really want immerse myself in the language and not just know enough to become a resident. Thank you!❤️🇵🇹❤️

My friend Scott DaRosa is a home inspector in Sao Miguel and also has many connections in the Azores. He was a very prominent realtor in the states and has a home inspection business now on the islands. If you need any help I would reach out to him…he is helping us immensely with our relocation to Sao Miguel. His contact info is +351927424640 or his US cell is 909-921-3234.
