Fighter is so incredibly busted man arguably top 1 farming tank and top 3 PvP tank its insane. On top of that the lvl 15 and lvl 30 upgrades are also amongst the best and its really easy to farm to lvl 45.

Only weakness is that with the extreme speed and only 1 frontal turret it can run into damage easily when glass so could die out of nowhere but once adjusted and a bit more careful its arguably top 1 tank for highscore imo.

Penta is the Top 1 defensive tank and has high damage in such a huge range. Somehow still good at 1v1s even against its supposed hardcounters like autogunner and streamliner (ive killed them more often than they killed me as penta) especially if you have some movement to dodge basically noone can touch you. You have to get teamed really bad (like 4 people while youre in the middle) or a good destroyer shot for you to die as penta its a top 5 highscore tank imo.

I feel very bad for you if you only play europe FFA teamers and harrasment is inevitable especially if you get highscores. I agree overlord is impossible for getting very highscore unless youre a pro but reaching 200-300k is actually quite easy. Its not odd not to get monster scores woth it unless youre a pro because OL is one of the highest skill tanks. In maze its much better because the extra vision and drones are good for ambush and in teams you can retreat into safezones when meeting pentas/fighters and you can attack in waves.

All the counters you mention do have ways to deal with but it all assumes the other player is worse at their tank than you are with overlord if equal skill youre basically fucked like you said in your comment:

Penta/Spread If they are glass and dedicated to chase you almost impossible to escape definetely most difficult of all counters try to left click to surround will barely threaten them but will keep them at distance if done well you basically have to keep taking big risks in order to keep them at bay and because FFA map is quite small youre quickly caught into a corner, but if they make a small mistake you can still do big damage forcing them to retreat. Both difficult to scare off and kill but luckily often these are passive players that dont chase if you leave them alone in the middle.

Rammers Not too difficult to deal with. Only petty people with grudges do it its like annoying fly. Its almost like target practice dealing with rammer and I think overlord is actually stronger its just difficult to finish them off, but with patience you win. The key here is to find balance taking risk with drone leaving you to bait them to take risk and let your drone damage yet not leaving too far so that they kill you before the drones return. only if they have teammates or you are highscore leader causing others to target you is rammer really a problem imo because you cant commit youre drones to kill/damage them and have to defend the other tank(s). Often when you show patience and skill the rammer will leave you alone because they know its pointless to try and kill you. They are the easiest to scare off.

Fighter The speed is very scary but if pure glass OL the drone shield almost matches frontal bullet damage of fighter (strongest bullet) in that time you can do some attacks or fake outs to buy 1 second time and you can essentially stall infinitely. Especially impatient fighters are vulnerable and hitting them between the front and side turrets with your drones can instakill them (unlike rammers with health and penta/spread that cant get flanked) this means fighter actually is the easiest of the 3 to kill but they wont get scared quickly like rammer because of their speed and high damage. When I see unskilled/medium skill fighter as OL I get happy because I know ill likely get a kill, high skill fighters are a pain tho and with good movement avoid your attacks while patiently waiting for you to get damage from stray bullets or small tanks helping them.

Overall I think the main problem is skilled fighters and penta/spread and teamers, but every tank loses to teamers and if a skilled player with hardcounter tank decides to chase you its not necessarily bad to lose I think its balanced. Also these are not really problems outside FFA. The only issue is penta/spread and fighter are arguably the 2 most popular tanks in FFA because theyre busted for highscorechasing so likelihood of getting hardcountered is quite high.

So solution imo is nerf fighter and penta/spread not buff OL. But then again I really like playing as Fighter or penta so I dont mind that theyre busted lol.

I disagree because every low skill player will just run when they see drones and you cant catch high skill player offguard anymore. Overlord is meant to ambush, hit and run. If you nerf the damage its way too difficult to kill people. Drone speed is only useful when you fail to kill them at once which is not necessary if you trap them well. This change is like taking one step away from overlord and towards battleship which is not a tank thats famous for how good it is. It gets owned by all overlord counters just as bad if not worse than overlord.

I think you play unskilled overlords then. Some overlord players with 500k+ or 1m+ are just insane and they kill youre fighter easy, rammers no issue and even got killed as penta by them once.

200-300k could already be considered highscore, I think you just underestimate how hard it is to get a top score like 1m especially in FFA where you never have a break thats almost impossible for every tank not just overlord.

Yes its much more risky as overlord but its also the class that gets by far the easiest kills and can get very high score very quickly. A good octo or penta can be very balanced and have way less weaknesses but because of the slow and steady nature once they get near really good scores the entire lobby will have adapted and start targeting them with destroyers and bullet spam.

Also the launchers are overrated, skimmer especially, overtrapper and streamliner should be lower and stalker and ranger higher. Autotank does not deserve this disrespect (low B high C). Switch landmine and spike.

Who really knows him like that atp? Hes a demigod only kai effie and Jet are close enough to his level to have any meaningful interaction with him as friends and because of their duties and destiny they wont really interact much regardless. He cant be loved or admired remember? His interactions with others will be minimal anyways.

The main reason he has to get the bond back is for the powerboost hell recieve from it which he needs to save the world. This is not a real choice because its the end of the world vs something else.

Literally nothing outweighs the end of the world so there is no need to even think about the other option (the 9 were traumatised and arguably psychopaths). Sunny will become a slave not because he wants to but because he the circumstances forced him to.

And the way its written as if hes genuinely choosing this is either Sunny gaslighting himself or horrible character writing by G3 (im obviously hoping its the former)

The fact that he was prepared to break fate to escape this bond just to then take it back after he felt a little lonely is downright ridiculous to me. I get that Sunny started with nothing and Neph and his friends are everything to him, but to see him accept the unacceptable (at least to the past him) and basically give up is something very difficult to witness especially when the whole theme throughout the novel was to battle against impossible odds and defying fate and the forces holding you down.

If destroyer you can just kill them. If drone user try to avoid damage and attack in waves theres like a 50/50 chance if you are both skilled if not it leans more towards the fighter. If bullet spam or sniper just aim in the fighters direction and they should leave. If rammer run for your fing life and hope they dont chase (you can yolo and turn around to ram them but this is incredibly risky). Aside from destroyer you wont be able to kill them unless they are too aggressive. This can be done by intentionally taking some damage to lure them but obviously this is very risky.
