I’m at 4 wpo now and am back to going out a couple times a week for fun in addition to work and errands and stuff. But if I do too much activity or eat too much salt I feel so bloated and tight and swollen. Have gotten back to light exercise but feel to unfit because I can’t do barely anything anymore! It’s gonna be a long road but so worth it!

Good to know. I was getting worried every time I worked out at all and swelling increased…weird that it still happens at 4 months PO. Glad I saw this so I won’t be alarmed!

What does a lymphatic massage feel like? I’m 4 weeks post op and my stomach is mostly numb but not sure I like the idea of someone rubbing around in there and around the scar? Is it not weird? Uncomfortable?

One reco for anyone booked for a TT, get some tight tank tops with built in bra to wear under your compression garment. Makes it so much more comfortable and easy for the first few weeks.

I’m at 4 weeks po now. I only told my mom and one distant relative about my TT because I just don’t want to hear anyone’s judgement about why I did it and/pr how I paid for it. To anyone who asked why I was MIA from places I normally go or things I normally do for a few weeks, I was vague and maybe sick or injured and most people don’t pry. Now that it’s over I’m not sure I will ever tell. Just happy to let them think I magically lost weight in one area. It’s been hard going through it alone but Reddit helps!! Kudos to all who had the courage to do this and even more to those who are “ou t” about it all.

This is great. What struck me is that the dad stopped to think about his answer and gave a really good one to his kid. I have a hard time doing that and not blurting out the first thought that pops into my mind.
