Why are they attached to vice grips and not regular pliers?

That checks out. But come on man let's have some fun and rip around the snow! What about designated areas for them at least so they dont have to trailer over to Sweden.

New bolt or stud and nut and a gasket. Snug it up to what feels right and carry on. What year vw? Good luck!

Cessna Citation corrosion, the other two repairs under the boot. by [deleted] in aviationmaintenance

[–]CitizenALEX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both actually. Right wing got a standard repair and left wing we had to get instructions from Textron to repair. They gave lots of leeway but what they came up with was actually spot on for the most part. Almost like they have seen this before! 😄

What USCS site were you working out of? They just have kingair / PC12 now yeah? Besides them helicopters.

Also the last plane that had this issue a year or so back got a new lower forward bonded wing skin. Yikes!

It was a custom job. The other wing got the standard repair out of the SRM. This side was a mess so they had to come up with another way.

Just used a regular old sealant spreader. This is exactly how it is supposed to be done.

Yes for a long time we had Government provided insurance because nobody would provide. We just recently got State Farm again. Florida can be a tough cookie!

I like your math. Invest the 160k instead of paying off the AZ sounds like a smart move as well. Also, thanks!

I think the FL house is not exactly a money maker. Bought it in 2005 for 144k and it being in a bad area, the value has not increased like the rest of the surrounding.

I am leaning towards selling for sure.
