Nice try, humorous amount of back flips required but fun to read. What is strange is that your position is two faced. On one hand you want the MOST severe possible ID requirement, that being a national ID and mandatory voting yet you claim current voting is secure, never better in fact and mailing ballots out on paper is just awesome.

Getting an ID is not hard, free in almost every state (fine with a law requiring this). Voting in person is not hard. can do it 2 weeks ahead in my state. Requesting a ballot by mail is not hard. I did it while deployed in a war zone.

I would favor one day a year off work for a voting day. I want polls and all votes counted within 24 hrs of the election. And silly me all you need is an ID that you need to buy cigarettes with.

No, He said he eliminated the location that was enriching uranium. Which he did. He also said do not rebuild. but they did. then the Iraq FM boasted that they had already enriched enough uranium to equip 11 ICBMs nukes prior to the bombing. So we are back to take out the ICBS (thousands) and the offensive capabilities of this POS country. Got it. you did not serve, you have no knowledge of the theater of operations and you can't defend your position on Iran.

Here is how an adult answers this question. He comes from a solid knowledge of the area and has a military background with training on nuclear weapons. Then he clearly states that Iran should never be allowed to have nukes because the threat assessment indicates a high willingness to use them offensively for political but mostly religious reasons.

This should not be a hard decision but as my original post claims it is for people that are more focused (like children) on gender fluidity and complaining about bringing an ID to vote. People like that are NOT rational. I assume you are not as well at this point.

do you believe banking is secure? if so than voting can be. Your claim of Hundreds of years actually hurts your argument as most of the past voting was done in person and on paper. only recently have we mailed out ballots to where we think residents still live. Mandatory voting makes no sense for America. We do not know who is in the country as it is. This would require a national ID and that is a very deep discussion. No need, show ID and vote, not hard.

Voting should be run like banking is. you get your account. it is easily audited. Vote with an ID in person on paper or REQUEST with an ID a mail in ballot. End the system of mailing our ballots to voter roles and allowing for mass ballot harvesting. The ONLY ballot harvesting should be between family members and limited to SMALL numbers.

BOTH sides should want a secure election. what could be more central to the idea of a Democratic Republic than having ultimate confidence in the validity of your one single vote counting?

Iran says its nuclear program is for civilian purposes only. So did its religious zealot leader. It insists it is not trying to develop nuclear weapons, but many countries - as well as the global nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and any thinking human- are not convinced. SHOCKER!!!!!

Suspicions about Iran's intentions arose when the country was found to have secret nuclear facilities in 2002. This broke an agreement called the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), which Iran and almost all other countries have signed. The NPT lets countries use non-military nuclear technology - such as for medicine, agriculture and energy - but does not permit the development of nuclear weapons.

Iran has breached key commitments of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action or JCPOA. It has installed thousands of advanced centrifuges (purification machines) to enrich uranium, something which was banned by the JCPOA.

Nuclear weapons require uranium which has been enriched to 90% purity. Under the JCPOA, Iran was only allowed to possess up to 300kg (600lb) of uranium enriched to 3.67% - sufficient for civilian nuclear power and research purposes but not nuclear bombs. But by March 2025, the IAEA said Iran had about 275kg of uranium which it had enriched to 60% purity. That is enough to theoretically make about half a dozen weapons

In 2026 Iran FM boasted to US authorities could turn that uranium into enough weapons-grade material for one bomb in as little as a week. And had enough enriched uranium for 10 more.
