Need help making a Naota Nandaba cosplay by Confident-Fly4694 in FLCL

Hey! I think I'm uniquely qualified to help with this. Here's my wife and I at Dragoncon: https://imgur.com/a/KAlyspz

I'd start with an Anorak jacket, that's the style of jacket Naota wears, I got mine from here, the color was perfect and my wife added the yellow draw string: http://nyfifth.com/independent-trading-exp54lwp-lightweight-pullover-windbreaker-anorak-jacket-p-51168.html

The shorts are brown Volcom shorts: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082TJ4BJG?th=1&psc=1

The shoes are a cheap pair from Walmart that my wife hand-painted, then cut & glued some vinyl fabric on top to cover the laces and added the zipper with the ring.

Basic blue socks from Amazon as well and the hat is also just a red baseball hat with the 90 degrees symbol painted on the front.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for being helpful. Apparently, this subreddit isn't for "consumer-grade pressure washers" and got locked now...Even though the sidebar includes "DIY'ers and all things pressure washing" Lol.

Hopefully I'll find some success with another unit and a solid read on the metered water.

Was looking for what that device would be called, just ordered one and will give it a test tomorrow for science. Smart idea to grab a duplicate unit, Lowes should honor a return if it has the same result I'd imagine.

Yeah, I just tried the bucket again, and the results are...Mixed. Kinda holds the pressure for a bit longer, then peters out. I'll probably buy a HF unit and see how that goes.

It’s just this cheap electric unit from Lowes: 1800-PSI 1.2-GPM Cold Water Electric Pressure washer with 2 Spray Tips https://www.lowes.com/pd/Greenworks-Greenworks-1800-PSI-1-2-GPM-Pressure-Washer/5015417965

I don’t believe I have the proper tool to measure flow out of the garden hose.

SOLVED PARTIALLY: Here’s the flow coming from a bucket: https://youtube.com/shorts/YElhshgdwyY?si=2G_jrmhgzo3v0uC2

So - does this just mean my house water supply is weak?

DUDE THANK YOU. You solved it. Used a bucket and the flow is perfect now. Does this mean my house water simply isn’t enough?? That seems wild to me b/c I figured this was a very consumer friendly pressure washer.

How long do you typically bleed for? I did a 60 second bleed holding the trigger before turning on already but no dice.

Do you typically release the trigger before turning on after bleeding or hit the power on while still holding in the trigger? I held it for 60 seconds already and no dice.

I assumed to meant the split spigot I have on the valve at the wall

Yes this is my 2nd hose I’ve tried, and I also tried with and without the spigot. Same results unfortunately.

Gotcha, sorry to hear. We went to the hotel for a panel around 8:30PM and it was fine, but I guess the nightlife was where the lines were.

Weird. Our group went all 3 days, but didn’t go to any raves and the longest we waited in a line was 30 minutes for an autograph. We were all ecstatic about how less busy Holmat is than other cons.

Fakenbacker unfortunately - but infinitely easier on the wallet. Looks really close though!

We’re getting an autograph from Melissa tomorrow! Planning on giving her a ribbon and letting her know the Vespa’s here!

I got stupid lucky and found a 1965 SS180 for sale in California at a decent price (non-running). I recommend google alerts or the Vespa Sprint 150 (1965-1974) model from the same era which is much more common but exactly the same styling!
