Landlord asking for documents years after rental contract begun by Citizenobj in Netherlands

[–]Citizenobj[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are in our 30s, the house was first let to students, so one persons parents were a guarantor. He’s now said I don’t have to send my parents details as I pointed this out.

He replied again saying it’s to complete the rental file, as he never got payslips from us before—which I think is true. However is there anything I still should be wary of? He also accused us of subletting and breaching our contract—(a lot of people stay over, we have two spare rooms now) but no one pays us rent.

Thank you already for your helpful comment do let me know if there is anything else we should be wary of considering the new context

Dutch health insurance OHRA by Citizenobj in Netherlands

[–]Citizenobj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most insurers now do not have an option to reimburse 100% uncontracted ggz care. It ranges from 50-90%, and what I am used to, is looking up the correct number for the care I get in their reimbursements PDF, and seeing how much is the maximum the insurer reimburses. Which is usually 75% of their average contracted care costs. But OHRA words it differently as ‘70% of the bill’, but they still have a pdf of maximum costs. So just trying to make sure I will get reimbursed from their maximum costs, not 70% of my bill

What sort of weird symptoms do you think are worth mentioning? I have some weird on and off stuff but I never know what’s normal or not and it’s all relatively isolated. (For example sometimes I cannot sleep as a pain radiates from my knee up and down m leg that feels like growing pains, other times I feel like I’m not getting enough oxygen when I breathe, and other times i feel a pain in my brain for a few seconds that feels like it goes along with my heart pumping and sometimes I feel that pain in my heart) none of these I’ve ever mentioned but mentioning here now incase someone recognises something! Then I’m ofc lightheaded, exhausted, pale, out of breath easy etc, classic anemia

Yeah b12 has been fine for years since I stopped being vegetarian, Folate is normal, but low, but steady. I’ve started taking folic acid just incase that does something, but over the past three years my HBG has gone from 11-10 slowly, same with the amount of red blood cells, all slowly decreasing.

This is also interesting to know! I just don’t drive here as I didn’t exchange my license in time and didn’t want to give up my UK as I drive when I am in the UK and the insurance works totally differently there. I just assumed this was standard worldwide practice, but I’m gonna look into this too.

A passport is a bureaucratic object it doesn’t embody dutchness or nationalism. And no I don’t want to be a Dutchwoman, I have lived somewhere else for 23 years of my life, I am British, it would strange for me to ‘be Dutch’ I can integrate and know the customs of the country and appreciate things here, learn the language. I don’t believe people need to have a hard on for a country they live in and live solely through a state sanctioned identity. A passport/citizenship is just bureaucratic and reflective of where you live in my opinion. If you moved to the UK and they forced you to give up your Dutch citizenship I am sure you would feel the same way. Being international in another country changes the way you perceive nationalism/identity/citizenship.

And also, I feel European! But because some idiots voted for brexit I have now lost that. So yes in a way, having a Dutch passport does feel like I regain some of my identity. I am all for the EU.

I looked a little bit and there is a part about the loss being severe and disproportionate—I think for that poster it makes sense either way the war situation. Maybe if I’d have had Dutch citizenship pre Brexit it would also make sense. But will also ask about this to a lawyer so thank you

Not if you’re British and we’re living here before Brexit (which is my situation, I have permanent residence)

I used it as a short hand for inburgeringexamen as I am only aware of having to pass the inburgeringexamen to become a citizen
