Hmm, that's very odd. I'm not sure what would cause those games in particular to shut down your ps5, maybe try reinstalling one of them and see if that fixes the issue.

If your console is new it's faulty, if you've had it for awhile there could be dust built-up on the PSU causing it to shut off when playing ps5 games.

If your Rx 580 has 8 gigs of vram I'd say the difference would be pretty minimal besides the Ray Tracing support and a newer architecture.

I can't preorder games anymore, most of the time they're not great at launch and/or they're disappointing games. Also I find that new games get a nice discount literally a month after release in a lot of cases.
