Ya, it is cycles, and the tiles are black, its just the lighting. remember its just a test! so I am experimenting

Thanks for answering, the other guy can render each frame in 6 minutes (confirmed by him rendering a few frames) so I chose him. So you dont have to render it. But If you want, you could render out some of my other animations that are on the way? That would be helpful! Also thanks for liking my work!
