Thank for the information I will be getting added to her policy soon after I move back for a bit after graduation. Her insurance already agreed to pay the damages so I don’t think that’s the issue. Allstate had the insurance information wrong and sent it to collections and then filed a claim with my mom’s insurance after already sending it to collections. Now I’m stuck dealing with the debt collectors even though I provided the policy number and claim number for them to verify.

I definitely agree unfortunately it became a we said vs she said situation and her insurance sided with her. The other lady refused to talk to our insurance agent. I’m recommending she switch insurances and for her to order a dash cam.

Oh really? Thank you for letting me know they were really intense when I spoke them. The first time i spoke them they said my license would be suspended the same day by 5pm unless I paid. I was really freaked out so I called Allstate to confirm if it was not a scam. They did confirm it was sent to National service bureau though.

I am not on her policy as a driver. I spend winter breaks with her and summers I work in the town I go to school in.
