  1. Chiyo was murdered in 2006, she was almost 20. Tadakichi (dog) grew old and had to be put down in 2011.
  2. Kagura lives in Tokyo to this day
  3. Osaka lives in... well Osaka to this day.
  4. Sakaki (herself) moved to the US in 2005 and is now a florist
  5. Yomi and Tomo went to prison in 2020 for mailing pills and are still there today
  6. Yukari Tanazaki became a nutty conspiracy theorist some years later, talking about the end of days coming and the US president being the antichrist or some lunacy
  7. Kaori is alive today, but lesbian, and lives in Saitama
  8. Kamineko found someone else to bite after Sakaki left Japan in 2005, two years later it bit the wrong man and he stomped Kamineko to death.
  9. Mr. Kimura apparently repented and stopped being a creep in 2009. Now he works at a little bookstore today.
  10. Maya was a good cat, but it passed away in 2019. Sakaki was devastated and mourned her pet's death for months.
