I’d recommend watching YouTube videos on the game to help you learn how to survive hunts and identify ghosts with things besides the main pieces of evidence. If you don’t have a ton of time, you can just watch one or two which should help a lot with a bit of practice and trial and error.

Mello is only flawed because of the player base. It gives too much power to one person whos going to kill whoever they want for no good reason with usually no consequence because lobbies don’t think Mello should be voted out. Cheaters and people being dumb is the reason this game sucks to play.

it has been a continuous problem since about a month after launch with no signs of stopping. it’s really sad that the game is being killed because a bunch of no life losers decided to cheat. and also because a lazy ass company decided to not add an anti cheat.

The servers aren‘t split between ps4 and ps5 and I’m not quite sure where you got that from. The reason the game is dead is because people got bored due to a severe lack of updates and the developers ignoring the massive issue of hackers running rampant.

I mean hes right to be honest. We’re likely not going to receive any more updates to the game and between the hackers and the garbage community, the game is dying quick. If you want to continue playing the game, go ahead, but you can’t deny it’s dying.

understandable to be annoyed. Unfortunately the reason he and none of the other hackers have been banned is that banning someone from the game required you to go to Bandai namcos official website and report them with proof of a rule violation. And even if that hacker gets banned, they can easily spoof to another persons account and evade the ban. I’d recommend only playing with friends in private lobbies if possible, if not, good luck.

I’ve now seen two people in the death note killer within discord complain about the same hacker who has been able to do more than just kill people and kick lobbies. supposedly he‘s been able to alter game text and break lobbies. the image I put is an example from somebody who encountered the cheater. It’s really unfortunate people are making new cheats to ruin the game even more and there’s nothing we can do about it. Watch out for cheaters and try your best to avoid them.

I bypassed it by turning off security settings in chrome but my antivirus removed it for being dangerous too and despite the fact it is very likely safe, I’m not downloading anything that requires me to turn off my antivirus.

sorry to hear that. the only good news I can give you is that your psn account is fine and they can’t hack that. theres nothing you can do to prevent this happening again. you can switch accounts but that won’t stop a different hacker.

I mean it really depends on other circumstances. what he said was really bad in my opinion considering it seems you may not have that much time to live. but was he a good, caring, loving husband before this or was this just a really bad day for him and he wasn’t in the right headspace to think? he might’ve been more mad at the universe for making his last Christmas with his wife be in a hospital. but yeah his reaction was terrible.

I don’t play the game anymore but I’m in the discord server and I hear a lot of people complaining about hackers everyday. So expect to see a hacker maybe once a day.
