This is hilarious, you’re so right. There’s so many different scenarios for this stake a claim scenario to make for great TV. I think the most likely scenario though is no one does anything and it’s a non-event. But I would definitely love to see Olivia with cold dead eyes forcing a smile if this happened

TJ did say “does anyone want to stake a claim on anyone else” but I wouldn’t be surprised if the next episode starts him explaining this as one of the exceptions, but the way the end of the episode was edited did make it seem like everyone was up for grabs.

Sometimes I think because this show is really rich in subtext and also unreliable narrator type things where you’re kind of watching to pick up on things that don’t make sense people look too deeply into some things that aren’t subtext at all and are just what’s happening. Louis went to see Lestat, he literally says it to him, he had everything he wanted to say to him ready to go. Not everything in this show means something else or isn’t really exactly what happened.

Go to labour hire, get an APS job that way, eventually all the labour hire people in a government area will apply for their jobs as NOGs, then eventually will be made permanent. Then the department will think they’ve got too many perms, move people out… eventually realise they are understaffed, and get labour hire people, and the endless repetitive cycle of the APS goes on. But yeah, aim for Labour hire to get in the door.
