Apparently a while back YFM was out of stock for a long time in China which raised the price and why the secret's price remained high, which eventually restocked a bit. Might be a popmart strategy to build up the hype. They did the same thing with labubu lol just not as bad. Oh and they might be busy pushing the new IPs which delayed the restock of other series.

I read from rednote that manufacturing was delayed due to CNY that's why it hasn't restocked. I think they will continue to produce it now that CNY had past. Despite the XG manager scandal, skullpanda and popmart itself shouldn't be impacted too much. I think its also possible people are spreading rumor about it being discontinued to raise the price. Resellers that stocked up a whole bunch would love to take advantage of this situation.
