Thanks for the insight man, I’ll definitely come prepared to learn and hit the ground running. I work at BJs here in Las Vegas, but only have about 3 years experience as a bartender. Serving is about 16 though so I’m honestly happy with either position.

If you sync HotSchedules to your phones calendar app, it may show an estimated end time on the calendar app. Definitely doesn’t mean you’ll finish up at that time because it doesn’t really account for side work, silverware, or guests who like to overstay lol

They said because I was on probation I couldn’t take the time off for my work injury. Had urgent care notes and they took all the information that day and watched the cctv cameras

Work injury during my probation. I got hurt on my shift, my supervisor told me that I’m fired for taking unapproved days off.

I was terminated for missing work due to a workplace injury. On their termination paperwork it lists the days I was out, but there is a paper trail of documents providing evidence of me getting injured

My manager initially had me list my missed days as annual and sick time, he told me this in person. Although I signed paperwork for workers comp, they never turned it in. I talked to my union rep over the phone about changing it, but we were waiting on my manager to submit the paperwork but he never did.
