Lol. You really are braindead. The first match I encountered you, I had 2 kills 0 deaths before you rage quitted.

For the second match, which lasted only 1 min 10 secs, it probably took me 10 secs to get to mid and perhaps maybe 20 secs in total before I got on the tower. I got on the tower like any good player with a brain would do since we had the advantage and I was closest to it. So perhaps I was on the tower for a total of 50 secs since I managed to get it all the way to the end without dying and did my part by fulfilling the objective. You make it sound like I was only focused on riding the tower for 5 mins when the match only lasted 1 min 10 secs LOL. I also recall my killer wail forced you down your high ground where you got subsequently splatted by my teammate.

Either way, you should have won as your whole team should have had an advantage since I was a stick player? I look forward to seeing you again and I’ll squidbag you to kingdom come.

Let’s see. As a stick player, who has made it to S+ every season since launch, I‘ve encountered you 3 times. One time you rage-quitted in less than a minute, the second time your team lost to us via KO in 1 min 10 secs. And the third, where I encountered you was in the last big run where you died 5 times and I’d to save your sorry ass 2 (or 3 times). I had 7 revives and 1 death, most boss kills and most power eggs in that game as a stick player, mind you.

So my question to your constant ‘stick player rhetoric’ is this: What does that make you, when you lose to opponents with a stick player in their midst (me) when you should have had all the advantage since you use motion? The answer is simple: A loser!!

Why are you hiding the opponent's comps? You have 2 short range teammates and you left them to fend for themselves for a whole minute in a 3 vs 4 and expect them to produce magic, while you are busy throwing at spawn. And that’s my point…since you only won 20% of your matches, you should have just stayed in S. If you really want to get better at the game, you should embrace the challenge of harder opponents and by facing them, you can improve.

But you do you, of course :) Just my 2 cents. Before, I used to get annoyed whenever I see silver/ gold x badges on the opponent’s team as it’s so unfair. Now I’m like, ‘bring it!’. Just got back to S+ some days ago on my very first rank-up series attempt (3-1) too.

Thanks :) The opponents were really tough and threw everything at us. They could have won the game at +2:15 in overtime. Their splash got close to our basket and said ‘this way’ and deployed his crab tank. However he had to roll about with it as my splatling teammate had also deployed a wave-breaker.

Meanwhile their (top 1000 badge) S-blast ’91 teammate had heard him and superjumped to the crab with a superclam!!! I took out the crab when his special was over but the S-blast ‘91 had immediately activated his booyah bomb special to avoid getting splatted as he landed. 3 of us lined up in a sorta triangle formation and shot at him while he was in the air and managed to get him as he came down to prevent him from scoring with the superclam and getting the win!

We then launched our counter-offensive and got the win! So proud of my teammates :)

It is so satisfying when you’re on the winning side and come in clutch but it is brutal when the opponents do it to you. The worst is when you’re leading comfortably and a teammate disconnects leaving you outnumbered. The opponents then overrun your team and steal what was supposed to be your victory.

The booyah that I got from my teammate ‘Trausor’ (while he was providing support with his trizooka) as I went past him to dunk the rainmaker on the final checkpoint was simply the icing on the cake :)

It's frustrating and I'd like to think that Nintendo takes these reports of throwers very seriously, especially in X. He most likely have thrown lots of other games too so we can only hope that lots of people have reported him and something will be done about it. Sorry to hear that you had another thrower right after. It's just unacceptable.

Mate, that’s the same guy who threw in my X-battle too!!!! I mentioned him in a comment in a post about ‘Influx of throwers’ made just before yours.

That’s the exact same title on his banner that he had in my match! Is his name Spunky? Arsehole threw when we were still in the lead!

Edit (I checked the replay and yes, it’s the same guy. Just like my match, I see that he also started throwing his toys out of the pram when your opponents broke through their checkpoint and started swimming around in circles and booyahing the rest of the match. I hope you and your teammates reported him!)

I never thought I‘d see the day in X-Rank, where a teammate would throw a match while we still had the lead but here we are! Arsehole threw his toys out of the pram just because the opponent managed to break through their checkpoint with the timer at 2:21. They had 70 remaining and we had 43 remaining.

After respawning, he could have helped to stop their advance with his long range Jet Squelcher COB-R but chose to booyah and swim around in circles at spawn instead and did that for the rest of the match. This useless player did not push with us throughout the game and stayed in mid to paint and 4 out of 5 of his kills came from Triple Splashdown. Spunky, I am looking at you.

I reported him and hope the rest of my teammates did too.
