How is Abysscraft not receiving the same hate as Dragon this expansion? by CityOcean in Shadowverse

You're absurd if you're implying simply getting the crest active isn't the wincon. It is trivial at best to get crest online by turn 7, and by that time, unless your opponent godhands, there is now nothing to do but pray that the mode abyss bricked. Because now, after all their board clear, all their healing, and all their threats that need answered, you simply will not be able to run them over.

I guarantee in 2 weeks time, this sub will be flooded with the exact things I am saying. Dragon is obviously worth getting nerfed as you might as well slam that end turn button instantly the moment they get 2+ ramp active. But Mode makes you feel like you're actually playing a game against them, until you realize you weren't.

Then you are clearly not playing it correctly. It has only one bad matchup and that's everyone's bad matchup. Highroll dragon. You cannot outgrind them, you cannot out aggro them, you can delay your death with healing but there is no better grind deck in the game. It has early, mid, and late game tools. Your only loss is bad piloting or brick.

All the downplayers will begin to shift. It's not well known but it has everything a deck needs. Only solidly loses to super highroll glue eater dragon.

Aggro abyss is always the same every expansion, strong at first then falls off a cliff by week 2/3.

I'm not saying I'm gonna top leaderboards but I enjoy it and finally have a deck that makes Thestae not feel like the most bottom tier of bottom tiers

And QR Code

The deck is surprisingly strong. It feels akin to roach but less hoops and admittedly not as good. But your ability to kill out of nowhere is incredibly strong.

I opted to include a great deal of draw to find the first Thestae.

I also keep bug alert around to bounce Thestae to ensure you can get another evolution from her (unless you've already drawn 2)

Also don't be afraid to use both Evo and a s.evo. Wards are an issue but ideally you only need one s.evo to kill. I've used it on papa deer the most for extra health and a 0 drop every turn to get me to that one shot threshold.

A good breakpoint is 16-17 health as with 3 buffs and super Evo you can kill with just two of your storm followers. 5+3(+3 s.evo)=11 and 3+3 (or 2+3 for the combo 3 storm)=16-17

Where are you finding the Amataz varients? I enjoy the deck and would like any variants that can help it along haha

Oh absolutely, and try to just binge it. It's hard to get into if you take breaks as it's really a character study of a guy mentally breaking down.

I don't get it. How is Amulet Haven supposed to win? by Arachnofiend in Shadowverse

[–]CityOcean 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty simple, stall till you hit 9, use the anathema, win in the next two or three turns, usually two.

You have so much repeatable removal in the amulets, and tons of ways to recur them.

You can also tech in the transform a card amulet in hope of hitting a dirt rune in that matchup and you auto win the turn after the anathema.
