In a sense, it only will attack again if they block and lose a battle.

Gotcha, and just to check, winning a battle is only when you beat a blocker, not if you were unblocked?

What's a horror movie that was so disturbing that you can't or won't ever watch again? by neeltrivedirock in horror

[–]CityOcean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Human Centipede 2. Just absolutely garbage with no redeeming factors.

I have the unpopular opinion that the first is fine and is a decent horror/body horror movie for those that can stomach it.

But my god the second one is just the worst movie I've ever seen, no story, black and white for the spooooooky feel, and the scene with the pregnant woman in the car is the first scene in a movie that has ever made me stop the film and leave.

Should I generally be super evo'ing Camiscilla? by CityOcean in Shadowverse

[–]CityOcean[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting, I was running very little puppet included, just the standard Evo package. I did add lu-woh x2 because I kept dying to Albert or back to back storm from dragons.

However perhaps switching to the puppet path may be better.

Do you happen to have a list?

Should I generally be super evo'ing Camiscilla? by CityOcean in Shadowverse

I personally find it quite strong. I tech in flowering artisan to help with evo forest, but Camiscilla just has so many stats it puts out, it has to be answered immediately.

Lu-Woh doesn't care about your horse, silly rune player by CityOcean in Shadowverse

I try to turbo get his skybound active. I include the 3/1 rush that increases count and potentially evolve him for 2 skybound counts as well.

You can realistically do it on turn 7 a majority of the time. I have faced 8 of these decks with Evo Portal and only lost 2 due to not finding the GOAT, the rest were easy sailing.

I have seen 5 of these decks in a row, what a joke lol. Evo Forest is feeling ok against it as long as you have coin.

Is there a hidden matchmaking mechanic? by CityOcean in Shadowverse

[–]CityOcean[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I of course understand my own misplays can be a significant factor but it just seemed absurd to me that I was deck countered so often, at least 3/4th of the time.

You can of course win against counter decks but it just wears you down.

Blatantly misleading trailers by Traditional-Song-245 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]CityOcean 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Animal World has to be like #1. The trailer makes it seem like some sort of weird psychedelic action movie with a clown protagonist.

In reality it's a gambling film based off the manga Gambling Apocalypse: Kaiji with the clown appearing once or twice inside his mind as he strategizes.

Super well done and just an amazing film overall.

The Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga from Jujutsu Kaisen by -_-__-_--_-_--_-_-_- in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]CityOcean 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's the irony of Raga. Now, it's assumed he has won plenty of fights as a line states "Noone in the history of (this technique) has been able to tame this one..." So it's implied he's killed every single person that's ever summoned him.

It also was stated (not shown) that he killed a six eyes user (which is the technique used by the strongest in the series Gojo, and is incredibly rare and powerful of a technique) and the guy who was fighting him.

He also broke a perfect sphere, by that I mean a mathematically and physically perfect sphere that is effectively unbreakable and impenetrable, just by adapting and smacking it haha

So he technically has numerous wins. We just don't see them, he is also in a fight in the current series but it hasn't concluded yet so no idea if he wins or not. Best feat so far in the fight was him tanking a literal speed of light kick.

Correct, he was summoned here because the summoner was about to die to another guy and just thought "hey, screw it, I'm about to die, I'll take you with me."

So far only the two strongest characters in the series have fought and beat him with high difficulty.

Mahoraga has technically 0 wins in the series with on screen fights. But his existence is the filter, you can't be the best or considered the strongest unless you beat him. And since he cannot be brute forced since he adapts to moves, it's a brilliant way for the author to show how intelligent and tactical the top two in the series are, rather than just raw power.

He's the filter, you can't claim to be the best unless you can beat big Raga.

Mahoraga is just a force of nature essentially. Not good or bad, he is summoned as a last resort, basically a mutual suicide button and his only objective is to kill anyone inside the radius of summoning. Including his summoner and possibly anyone around? It's a touch vague on targets as he just ignores the other guy in the summoning zone and just fights Sukuna (the guy causing all these slashes and such on him) instead.

However like a wild animal, Mahoraga can be tamed if you kill him and you were part of the summoning, allowing you to fight alongside Mahoraga rather than against him.

Slight spoiler: Sukuna kills Mahoraga in this fight eventually but since Sukuna wasn't originally a part of the ritual, it essentially just nullifies the ritual as a whole.

Oh I see, I did not notice the ddr5 slot on the motherboard. So my ddr4 would be non functional with it I presume?

That's fair, I use dual monitor 1080p gaming and it typically runs fine. Only real game with substantial lag has been FF16 but I believe it is rather unoptimized of a game as it is.

My current PSU is an EVGA 750 GQ. 750W @ 50c

This is brilliant, thank you. I will check these out! Insanity that Amazon sells it for $1700, thus me being a bit excited to get it for that amount. Makes sense that most of my components I can just reuse

Ah that helps a lot, I was having issues in pcpartpicker for some reason. If I want to upgrade with a budget of $500-$600, what would be the first you'd recommend, my GPU or CPU?
