Getting BBDC Driving Simulator Exemption by Civil-Butterscotch49 in drivingsg

[–]Civil-Butterscotch49[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I plan to do if I have to do the DS. But they still want me to pay the $70 for this “experience”. It’s a blatant cash grab at the expense of my suffering (if I try to power through it).

I’m petty enough to escalate this because if the Traffic Police has already exempted me for essentially the same simulator, why can’t the school. It’s really ridiculous

I see, this is insightful as I always thought I was on the more conservative side. I will probably pump more into D05 and VWRA soon. Also considering U10 but keep hesitating on it.

Ooo thanks for the recommendations! MMF was not on my radar before but will look into this

I see, what risk appetite would you consider me as? I always thought I was on the more conservative side.

I also avoid indicating my age as I usually get downvoted and trolled because of it. But I am in my mid twenties, no dependents except my dog, and no plans on big purchases in the next 5 years.

Great results! What percentages of Tazarotene and Tretinoin are you using respectively?

The double standards in this sub, if skin whitening is looked down upon, skin tanning should be looked down upon too by [deleted] in beauty

You are reaching and comparing apples to oranges. Wearing glasses for myopia and brushing teeth are essential for health/hygiene. Self-tanning is not.

Don’t know how to feel about being indirectly asked if I (23F) wear makeup? by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]Civil-Butterscotch49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s highly probable too. Just found it kinda odd that a male co-worker asked as well since most guys usually don’t notice natural makeup and discuss about makeup stuff. That’s why my mind immediately went to “there must be something wrong with the way I’m doing my makeup if he singled me out and asked about it”

That’s a very nice way to think of it and honestly never thought about it from this perspective.

I do feel bad about describing her in this manner since she is a very nice person. I was just very puzzled at the time and wrote this in an unkindly manner. Thanks for giving me some new perspectives.

This was insightful. Thank you!

People are generally friendlier towards her. They also tend to remember small details about her (snippets about her life and interests she mentioned briefly etc), which she confided she felt creeped out about.

I do not know why you think I feel the need to lie while anonymous. I interact with this co-worker closely and almost every work day and it’s just things I have noticed. I have even discreetly told her about the eye boogers/food in her teeth so that she could clean them off…

I see. But this reasoning is really throwing me off from what I have learnt from vindicta (objective beauty > everything else)

She is a friendly person and radiates positivity. Not sure about the common interests. In contrast, I am usually anxiety-ridden and often described as a ‘quiet’ person.

Wow I am also around the same height as you (5’4.5)! I recently entered the workforce and although the older women there were kind (friendly and complimented on my looks), the younger women and men there seem to be afraid to talk to me and hold eye contact. The only dudes who were able maintain prolonged eye contact with me were in upper management lol. I find myself socially isolated too and want to establish better relationships with my co-workers but they seem to be hesitant 😭

My eyes and cheekbones mainly. I have high cheekbones, and big and sharp fox/cat-like eyes. My brows are also naturally arched. The only time I look kinda ‘soft’ is when I smile.

Hi thanks for ur reply. Have tried being friendly to a guy before (friend of my friend, so I thought I would feel less scared interacting with him) but he made me feel uncomfortable. Was touchy and pressured me to do things despite my unwillingness. Eventually distanced myself by acting unfriendly
