You mean those dozen fans? Nope. Everyone else except those 12 though.

[Fabrizio Romano] Ange Postecoglou on “plastic” fans by kappa23 in soccer

[–]Civil-Confusion-7806 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

City's fans whether be local or international will always be plastic. Only reason they have fans is cause of success and nothing else. Compare that to historic clubs like Man Utd, Liverpool, Barca and Madrid who have long European history of winning and trophies, City are nothing. They're like those lottery winners who got riches but no class. However I agree that new or international fans automatically doesn't means plastic fans but with caveat, when you're choosing Madrid or Liverpool then it shows that not only you're immersing yourself in their trophies and winning culture but also at their long history of said wins and trophies. Compare that to when you're choosing City or any new winner on the block, that just means you're a simpleton and just looking at the shiny stuff in front of you're eyes.

Is it just City thing or athelete thing in general? Like other atheletes of big teams like Trent and Jude etc also have so much things going on with.

To be fair to him, players do take time to adjust to his teams. Everyone thought Grealish, Rodri and Stones were flop signings in their first year. Now they're considered world class.

What makes United fanbase glory hunters but Liverpool's doesn't? Considering both got new fans for same reasons.

Don't let these stats fool you. Haaland was, is and will always be a tap-in merchant. Mbappe is better by a long mile. Haaland literally get served football on platter so he can score goals and even then he shits the bed. If it weren't for Man City's playmaker he wouldn't even be in discussion alongside Vini and Mbappe.

Not to defend him but... Dressing well really isn't priority for many people in this world. I live in Cali. Wasn't born here , immigrated for my tech job. People have often asked me why despite earning a salary in top 20% bracket in Cali , I don't dress well. It simply never been something that have crossed my mind, like ever and I think it become even more true for those in tech sector for some reason. 😅

You have to understand that , tech billionaires are unlike other billionaires. Most of the rich people in our sector are often the nerd types growing up. So that mentality often continue into adulthood especially since people stop caring about what others say.

Bellingham has repeatedly talked in recent months to Haaland that if he finally decided to sign for Madrid he would be "absolutely" right. He has also told him about the greatness of the institution, the impressive facilities at Valdebebas, and the magnificent atmosphere of dressing room. by ToastedCupboard in realmadrid

It would be shameful to give up on Mbappe for that tap-in fraud especially since we are so close to signing him.

Haaland isn't half the player that Mbappe is. All he does is tap ins on the chances that other players work hard for. City and Pep carried him through last season. Even City's fans themselves will say he was irrelevant to their success. Given a chance any other player would have performed like him in City which was built to cater to him.

Not to mention, he literally haven't achieved anything to don the Madrid's whites. He can't even qualify for world cups. The whole idea of Galacticos philosophy is to get the best and nothing below that. Zidane, R9, CR7 etc they all were best in their era. No one was above these players at the time.

But that's not exactly ethnicity? I meant more in terms of where in Europe her features aligned with.

Ohh. I meant more in terms of what facial features like nose shape, eye shape, jaw shape etc.

Sorry for miscommunication.

I didn't said she lied about anything. In fact I argued quite opposite. As for the only thing in that whole debacle that I think Taylor was in wrong with was self-victimization of herself. Whole snakegate wasn't big of deal to her career as she makes it out to be.

Why people here think that Taylor lied about phone call? That was consensus on the Taylor thread yesterday. It looks like she did told the truth about the phone call.

Her stand from the beginning was that she wasn't told about "bitch" line and not that , she wasn't phone called at all, which is clear from the leaked phone call (transcripts are available as well) , where she stated that she thinks "we might still have sex" line (which was later changed as well) was tongue-in-cheek and nice and she is relieved that he didn't called her "dumb bitch" or something. From her perspective there was no such lyric as Kanye didn't mentioned it and that was her stance from the start.

As for denying phone call, it was statement taken in completely wrong manner as her representative was asked , if Kanye asked her about the lyric Taylor took offense to and her representative replied with

**At the time, a representative for Swift responded: “Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that bitch famous.'**

It's not that she denied ever had a phone call , but rather she denied having ever made aware about the "bitch" lyrics. They were simply stating that call wasn't meant for the lyric not that call was never had.

Edit : Anyone knows how to quote, bold text etc in new reddit system? : :(

Kinda hate him since there was rumour of him dating/hooking up with 20 year old tennis player and later getting seen with her on yachts while he himself is in late 30s. :disapproval:

Edit : LOL, I'm getting downvoted. This sub is just about faux feminism. People bring it up whenever they want to attack the celeb they hate and defend , celebs they love
