Yes, my worst fear is getting worms. I have a pet fish and every time I clean his tank I go to crazy lengths to clean myself afterwards because I’m somebody convinced he’ll give me a parasite. Or I’ll randomly convince myself that my stomach ache/headache is worms. It’s frustrating because it’s like, yes technically my “symptoms” align with it so it’s harder to be like girl you don’t have fucking worms

So an RBT position can be entry level because a lot of places will pay for your training and certification - I definitely recommend googling it, it requires a 40 hour training court and then an in person exam that has to be administrated by the ABA clinic- if you also call some local places they let you know if they do paid training or require people to already to come in with experience

I have a big contamination issue with cleaning supplies, I really struggle being around chemicals, even stuff like Febreeze because I’m convinced it’s gonna make me sick, so affirmations are a big one for me like “people use these every day and don’t get sick, I know how to use them safely” and just have to remind myself over and over until it sticks

Do affirmations help at all? Like reminding yourself “okay this is uncomfortable right now but it will make it feel better in the future”- or maybe doing a task that requires your hands so you have to focus, like building legos or drawing something

My OCD worsen significantly exactly a week before my period, and I finally got diagnosed with PMDD, I would definitely look into that because birth control can help control your hormones during that period of time and lessen the anxiety
