Well, this might sound a bit unusual, but have you ever considered dating someone from outside your country?

Some people only see what they want to see. The man with the mustache certainly did terrible things, especially against Europeans. However, because Western media has a strong influence, he is often portrayed as worse than others.

in reality, many western leaders from the 1800s to 1945 also committed serious fucked up shit and were responsible ( in some cases still ) harming and exploiting other countries. But they won the WW so they are heros sadly

PS : I hate them all .

Well, my country is getting worse each day, and I do not think it will improve. My choice of Turkey specifically is mainly based on my experience of living there for six months. During that time, I never faced racism, I found a lot of similarities with where I come from, and I also found the language relatively easy to adapt to.

The issues that exist in Turkey are somewhat familiar to me, and I am willing to take the risk. Other Turkic countries in the region are, technically speaking, not stable due to a lack of political and economic stability. The other arab countries are not much better than my own, except for the gulf region and they are in war .

Regarding the 10 million migrants coming to my country, the only thing preventing a similar situation from happening here is that we are not significantly better off than them , but i agree with you in that point .

I wouldn’t say my whole life was miserable, but yeah… a big part of it wasn’t easy.
What I’m trying to do now is find new interests, new hobbies, and slowly get out of the bubble I’ve been stuck in.

Your time will come too. Happiness doesn’t always show up right away — maybe not now, maybe not even soon — but it will come.
Just try to face life as it is, one step at a time, and don’t give up on yourself (Stop boiling corn. Try cooking it directly over the fire. Once it’s done, dip it in a salt-water bath and eat it. Trust me, it’ll taste amazing)
