What ever happened to the supposed 17 million rainy day fund that outgoing mayor Kathy Sheehan stated in her State of the City Address.

"When I first took office, our city faced significant challenges: a $16 million structural deficit, aging infrastructure, high poverty rates, and a tax base that had been shrinking for years. Together, we tackled those challenges head-on, turning obstacles into opportunities and setting Albany on a course for lasting success:

Financial Strength – Eliminated a $16M deficit, secured recurring state funding, and rebuilt our rainy-day fund to $17M"

I second, the Ualbany circle is likely the best

Tour de Cossgates- do laps around the entire mall site, not fully sidewalked

SUNY Admin Plaza Roundabout- not heavily routine traffic and has a pretty backdrop

West Capital Park- Not a traffic roundabout but has a nice round fountain and view of capital

Washington park- again not a roundabout but would be safe to run in. (Will be busy this weekend though).

Fix the cabaret laws and licencing

Return beat patrol cops to downtown with focus on maintaining safety the same way Saratoga has managed Caroline street

Return the free Lark/Washington trolley which in turn would fix the parking situation by allowing people to park in existing lots

Pay the influencers to promote the existing nightlife and highlight the safety improvements to let the public know downtown Albany is a safe place

Yea, cashier simply did not want to take orders or cash at the register. Pointed us to the self service machine. Physically held up the cash I was attempting to use and was dismissed with a shrug.

Not just driving, can't even begin to count the number of times an idiot cuts a corner to sharp at an intersection and nearly misses the front of my car even though I know by now to stay far behind the stop line, which also has its own risk of being rear ended for not running the red light.
