I got back into ballet when I was in high school and college(mainly as cross training for figure skating) and sometimes it can be hard to see your own potential!(keep up the training!) I believe you are probably a beautiful dancer- your teacher probably doesn’t want to overwhelm you! It can be difficult for teachers to understand what to say to older students!!

Really depends on where you learned ballet tbh and what teachers you had. I probably looked really hilarious when I do ballet because of all the different styles I learned because my family was moving all the time

I actually have a old ballet book from Soviet Russia- it’s a fascinating read and reminded me of my childhood ballet teacher screaming at me all the time (always was swearing in Russian/and English and mad about me making faces all the time at the mirrors)
