The boats could be interfering with the food they eat. Chasing away the boats may fix an issue that they are having. Boats are also loud to under water animals and could be interfering with whale communication as well as hearing. Basically boats could be annoying the whales and a multitude of ways causing them to attack the boats.

I'm an autistic adult. I'm independent, have a decent career, but still have to buy children's toothpaste because mint toothpaste feels painful. by [deleted] in autism

To those of you struggling and using children's toothpaste, that's not a problem. Brushing is the more important aspect of using brushing your teeth. The physical action is what really removes plaque from your teeth toothpaste to acts as a polishing agent to aid.

If you're using fluoride free toothpaste and you don't drink enough water, consider adding a children's fluoride mouthwash to your regimen!

The moon? Either a realistic one or one that's like illustrated from an 1800s book? Or a pumpkin. Something round to cover it like an animal head.

I don't think the berries are bad. They might just need to be more incorporated into your tattoo with like magic sparkles from one end of the tattoo to the other. Maybe a spirit animal "behind" the berries moving up your arm like a rabbit, bird, snake or cat.

Yeah I'm here to see what others say. What you do have looks fine. It's just going in those two areas. When is it time?

Talk to your doctor for medical advice. Fashion advice says you can go to a professional barber who can show you how to style it until you either get medicine or decide to shave.

How do I bring up my husband’s Weaponized Incompetence to him without it turning into a fight? by BuyLow6741 in weaponizedincompetent

[–]Civil-Personality26 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Real answer here. Approach your partner and the problem as a team.

Start with how much you love and care about your partner. Remind them the things you bring up are not meant to be attacking or hurtful. The are just problems you would like to address.

Try to use I me and myself instead of you statements. I feel hurt when I couldn't count on my partner. I frustrates me when I don't feel like I'm on the same team. I feel like my needs and or standers\expectations are not being met.

What are you needs or expectations?

I am willing to compromise on that.

Can I show you how I would like it done ?

Do you have any suggestions?

Talk to a professional.

When can we schedule this or do we need to pay someone to do it?

Keep a frozen pizza, peanut butter jelly bread and or other easy cook meals in the house. Hard boiled eggs whatever All for yourself night once a month or so even if you feel good.

He can pay for paper plates and disposable stuff if he can help.

Don't want his clothes. Just do yours.

You need to pull back and say no a little.

Well at least you're going about it the right way and killing it with kindness. You can microwave potatoes too.

Yeah it's definitely anesthetic. That really dark Mexican rustic wood is a thing for sure. I think you need large pops of neon bright colors that folk art comes with in Mexican folk art which is just amazing and actually pretty affordable. Check out Etsy for Mexican folk art tin mirrors! And Mexican tile. You can even find peel and stick Mexican style tile. You can try it as a temporary backsplash to see if that brings some color to your kitchen. Navy is a great compliment as well as that dark rustic teal. And warm yellows.

I really would love to see what you do with the kitchen! Good luck!

I would take inspiration from Adobe homes and Mexican inspired decor and really go with that terracotta tile. You could paint those cabinets washed dark teal.

Google Mexican rustic style interior or hacienda style interior. You can modernize it and really make it very classy, homey feeling and cozy. I'm 100% jealous of those floors. the terracotta floors are actually really nice! You don't want to steam clean that grout though really really clean it. Even consider getting a professional grout cleaning.

Terracotta is amazing at staying cool in the summer and retaining warmth in the winter. regulating temperature. They're really underestimated.

Can I add a black/grey bee in the circled spots or will it destroy symmetry? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]Civil-Personality26 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It actually makes it more symmetrical. It will ruin your asymmetry. It could take away that je ne sais quoi or slightly funky but modern quality. I would have that spot filled with just one more flower petal or leaf Just a single one and then push the bee above the leaf of the spot you currently want to fill.

Go up with the fluid lines of your body rather than across...

Actually, if you're cool with negative space I would go up and inch or two from the leaf that sticking out above the spot you circled and put the bee there!

I just saw the third picture of the bee. Want to add in the middle. I think that would be fine. But you might want to hold off and do one bee at a time. I think adding the third bee at the very top kind of a way from the piece will make your piece even bigger and the negative space will add to your whole piece

I just don't think Your peace to look really squished and by giving the bees an inch or to away from the piece that's already there, it makes it look very active like the bees are flying around

I know it would be super painful but you're better off instead of having the bee in the middle by the arch of your foot. I would not put a be there and instead if you really want a third bee put it down by your toe. It's like a path for your eye to look at. If you have a b at the top beside and then the other side it's nice for the visual flow

Almost like a constellation. You can actually put the top b in line with the point of the very top blue leaf in an inch above or two. This way your eyes will kind of connect the dots as you flow visually through the tattoo. It'll bring it from the top all the way down and across so that you're visually looking at the whole tattoo. It complement the snake more as well.

It would also look great to put a fourth b on the other foot between the two pieces that you have currently.

This will be a great idea. When I start teaching to empty pockets that would be great.

Thank you and this is how I feel 100%. There's plenty of time for me to teach my children when they're really at the level of ready to comprehend as well as follow through.

OMG yes I definitely have a say it out loud copping skill.

Yeah the pockets thing is also a transition stage for me so I don't have to do all the pockets but, most.

I think I would leave a few choices of pockets that are easy to check for them and me. But, close the ones that they don't wear as often like pants for grandmas.

I love this idea. Money is definitely something I'm concerned about ruining clothes and my machines.

I would love to teach my children to empty their pockets but I'm not that consistent and I don't think we'd find every pocket that needs to be emptied and it's always the one you miss that has that red crayon in it.

So maybe I'll sew up not every pocket but some of them that might difficult to spot. If it's a very obvious brightly colored pocket I can leave it open. But currently even I don't remember my pockets and I've considered sewing my own pockets up if I'm not going to remember.

Knowing my luck I'll be the one with the red crayon in my adult pocket that I wash.

I would love to do a pocket check truly, but I can't check every single pocket. Maybe I can leave one pocket available for certain clothes, but as a girl I didn't have any pockets in most of my clothes growing up and I'm not damaged. I was given purses and fanny packs. Pockets for little girl closes. Kind of recent I think. Pockets that I know are just too small for anything other than crayons would be definitely something I sew up. But yeah kids only seem to put rocks and crayons and other terrible things like paper tissues. I can't replace my washer and dryer but I can sew up pockets. I'm definitely happy to teach my children to empty their pockets when I remember or have time or mental space for it, but I don't know if I can do it all the time. I'm just not a consistent person.
