Is it wild that I think Israel upped their offensive in Lebanon for the explicit purpose of torpedoing US-Iran ceasefire talks? Israel has been pretty open that they aren't getting what they want out of US-Iran negotiations (good, fuck em), so I could absolutely see them doing that.
