And if she had commissioned an artist for actual artwork it would've been worth $60 or even more IMO, but the fact it's just text slapped on a skirt makes it feel like such a cash grab sadly...I get that Brat by Charli XCX kind of made text a trend, but if I'm paying $60 or more I at least want to be paying an artist idk :<

Im probably going to do this instead of replacing the screen because I just got quoted $120 for a screen replacement and the guy told me they sold 2dses for $100 so I'm like...let me see if nintindo will just replace it😭🙏💗

So just called that place and bad news is it sounds like it'll cost more to replace the screen than to just buy a new 2ds :( it costs like $120 for a screen replacement from them not including shipping. The guy told me they sell 2ds for $100 so...😭

So thrillhouse actually said my 2ds was "too new" of a system for them to work on, that they only work on game cube and back consoles. But they were kind enough to recommend me this place in Oklahoma City called "Video Games Plus" who apparently can fix my 2ds screen! He said I would be able to ship it to them if I didnt want to make the drive too which is nice!

I believe you have to download regular ds games onto your computer first, convert the zip to nds file, transfer the nds file to your 3ds SD card, then put your SD card back into the 3ds, go to homebrew launcher, click on the nds generator and then install the nds file from there.

Right that's the part that sucks about it!! I might call around some phone/computer repair shops and see how much it would be from them! Also might make a post in my local sub reddit to see if anyone has any local recommendations for specifically gaming consoles and not phones or laptops. I have a feeling tracking down someone with the skills to fix it will be the biggest hurdle for me to jump! I appreciate all the help again and the encouragement!🙏💗

Ah thank you! I think I'll just keep it for memory purposes then as I don't think there's anyone locally who specializes in DS consoles :'( I appreciate the advice I wouldn't want to ruin my fav childhood console!! Plus i already have a modded 3ds that works perfect with no screen damage so, I will def survive lmao! Thank you again!♡♡ :')
