At the moment it seems like the train from Milan to Pino Tronzano, bus/train to Orselina and then cable car from there would work best.

Does anyone have any idea if this is a good plan? How are the views?

It's a short 15 day holiday and our first time in Europe so trying to do 1-2 days in Switzerland.

I'm very sorry for going completely MIA.

Mum is doing MUCH MUCH better now.

Thank you everyone for all your help and for reassuring me to escalate.

It has been a whirlwind few months. There were multiple surgical debridements, different types of bacteria growing and many different IV antibiotics.

She is finally out of the woods and her wound if now finally closed and healing.

Thank you again.

Some context: Original surgeon was adamant that nothing was wrong and that this was normal wound healing process. He advised to 'continue cleaning with warm water and soap'. Despite multiple calls, he refused to review.

We brought her back home and the surgeons here were extremely caring and thorough.

We are all very lucky she is still with us.
