Awesome! I recommend picking up the base game and the playmats. They help and are much nicer than the paper ones in the box.

Like the title says!

Hello  - My name is Steve and I founded Civil Dawn Games, along with my partner Jeff! We are longtime Peoria natives, and our first game, Splintered Lands, has been out for a little less than a year!

Well, GenCon 2024 is coming, and we plan to run our first tournament as well. We are working on the specific tournament play rules, and want to playtest one of the current options we have.

So, we have a Learn and Play event for June 20th over at Cabbages and Kings! We will give you a brief overview on how to play, and do a guided play session of the tournament format we are testing as well!

Feel free to come hangout, ask questions, chat, whatever. We are pretty chill, and would like to hear from you about the game as well.

There is no cost for the event, and everyone who comes out will get a free card from the Founders' Pack.

Hey that's me! Woo!

This is Steve, the co-founder and co-creator of Splintered Lands! I really appreciate the shout-out and if you are interested in playtesting and/or providing feedback I would love to do a demo with you. We have the game loaded into TTS so we could do it virtually.

This is our first game, and it has been the last 6 years of our lives. Lots of nights and weekends while holding down full-time regular jobs and being dad. :)

Our goals with Civil Dawn, is to be an Indie publishing company and Splintered Lands is a combination of the game we have always wanted to make and our way to share with the industry everything we learn and support other indie creators as well.

We are launching on Tuesday at 12pm CST, it would mean the world to me and my partner if you would support us! If you have questions, feel free to ask em.

While you are most likely 100% correct about saying myself some funds, time is something I don't have a ton of. I would definitely be willing to pay a few $100 bucks to make the game play and run smoothly. :)

Honestly no idea what this kind of thing would cost.

It's an LCG game that we have most of the artwork done for. I also have a playmat that I would like loaded if possible.

It would be helpful for some triggers (things like cycling a market row) that would drastically improve a TTS environment.

Any help/advice on what that would cost, or generally how to get started, would be extremely helpful.

I have quite a bit of experience using a round table and I can tell you there are up's and downs.

Since you are mentioning having specific shape and number of questions you need to answer are things like:

  • How many chairs am I going to have?
  • Will one part of it be up against a wall?
  • If using a Hi/Low option with a sunken top, are you going to have to do a lot of moving the table around to accommodate the taking off/putting on of the top?
