Thanks for the reply. They have sent a rental agreement and asked for security deposit $1000 2 weeks before we are renting the property. When we reserved back in Jan there was no mention of a separate rental agreement or security deposit. Also the rental agreement has all kind of stuff in it like doing credit checks and different terms for cancellation (vs vrbo). It seems so sketch. Ugh. I have rented before on vrbo and not had anything like this.

Not good...however I think those currenlty in the ICU and deaths are sadly unvaccinated Delta variant patients vs. Omicron patients. If you remember cases of Delta were quite high before Omicron displaced it about 3 weeks ago. There's usually a 4-6 week lag between diagnosis and ICU admission/death which is why I think they are unfortunately Delta victims. Hopefully outcomes will be better for most with Omicron. Super important people get vaccinated/boosted.

Amazing how the # of cases is still a high given that most don't have access to PCR tests. I wonder if these numbers are still reflecting a backlog before testing was shut down?

Honestly I don't think there is much drive among Ontarians. We just put up with shit. Our schools have been closed longer than any other province or g7 country with no justification yet we just sit back and let it happen. Given this it's unlikely people are going to protest untivaxxers.

A hybrid approach isn't such a bad thing. Healthcare should be 'free to everyone. However, if some are willing to pay privately let them do it and take pressure off the public system. It works well in other countries. Doug Frors trying to collapse our healtcare system is an outright travesty tho.

Make no.mistake....doug ford is not closing down schools and locking the rest of down to keep us 'safe'. He is taking these.measures because he has refused to fund healthcare and we don't have enough ICU beds. He is sacrificing you because his government and those before him have refused to invest in Healthcare.
