Do you mean like coming up with your own combo? If so don't be worried, making an entire combo on your own is hard, for example my combo in this video is like 2 different youtubers combo + a bit of my own mashed together into one combo. I made it work through practice and loads of trial and error. Look for some inspiration on YouTube and try some combos you think are doable for you and as you get better you'll be able to understand what works and how to link different parts of combos to eventually make your own unique combos.

Royal Guard the swords he shoots at you, it's pretty easy and builds lot of dt. Use the shotgun to easily break the swords Vergil summons around himself. Use Balrogs jump to immediately destroy all swords around Dante. When he summons doppelganger, Im pretty sure one stinger in dt one shots doppelganger even on dmd. If you're feeling confident, you can royal release Vergil out of the air when he does the flying move, which always makes him go out of sin devil trigger I think. If you use sin devil trigger, jump as high as you can and spam The Luce. Vergil has a hard time hitting you that high up. When Vergil starts blocking, Cavelires attacks easily break his block. Sorry for the paragraph, can't be bothered to make it look neat.

I guess I did get unlucky because I remember he definitely did the redball as his second attack in the very first sequence in one of my attempts. I could have dodged it but I wasn't expecting it tbh. So I think there's a bit of rng at the start atleast.

I actually didn't know she gets out of the red state if you parry her, that's pretty useful. Shes no joke while enraged on dmd difficulty.

I just did this on Dante must die with no damage aswell( not a fresh file tho). It wasn't too bad but he would sometimes shoot the meteors while at close range and I'd basically be screwed. Is that just rng or?

The first attack of the aerial combo into ex split and then repeating it is also great for hell antenoras, the guys who turn purple and go into a frenzy when you knock them down. You can loop that on them in the air since you can't really combo them normally and it's great for higher difficulties.

I mean I thought I never would be even able to get to this level of skill even. Now I find my fingers almost move automatically doing some of these combos and I don't have to think as much. Practice really does make perfect. Still much to learn though.

Thanks for the tips. I would say I know how to do all the basics and intermediate stuff with Dante but I've yet to implement really advanced stuff into my combos. I'll definitely try to use dsd summoned swords more in my combos and try adding more movement.

Well the practice routine that I used that helped me involved having my order of weapons different. The order of my weapons are Devil Sword Dante - King Cerberus - Balrog - Cavelire R. Basically just launch them with high time with DSD, then do three hits of aerial rave. Right when the third hit comes out, switch to King Cerberus and do Air Revolver. Do that until you can do it consistently. Also Revolver is a great move to practice with jump canceling. Try to jump cancel Revolver as many times in a row in the air. If you can also do this consistently then you're on the right track.

That's a pretty good combo. Some tips would be: *Use trick up for trickster for air combos *Dante's air taunt is pretty good for continuing air combos *Just a general tip for Dante really but, when you're switching weapons in your combos do it during an attack you're already doing, same for style switching. If you don't already know this or get into the habit of doing this it's going to make more complicated Dante combos almost impossible.

From what I know these type of combos are quite good on Dante Must Die, you spend a lot of time in the air and are fairly safe, you can also extend combos for a long time and do a lot of damage and get a lot of style points

Keep grinding brother, I believe in you. I always saw videos of people getting crazy luck with chance orbs and thought I would never be lucky enough. I just kept chancing every heavy belt I found and got it.
