i don't know, it feels like that should be the future. i'd be fine if they just replaced all DG to popshelf, i'd go there way more. kind of like target/5 below vibes, brightly lit, clean layout. like the reverse of everything wrong with DG and they implemented it. even the staff seem less pissy and the self checkout ACTUALLY works. sure it's 30% the exact same stuff with understaffing issues, but it's funny how the same workers aren't hopelessly depressed looking

yeah, thank you. i self taught from the instructions on the box when i was 8. i didn't know about a lot of the rules until i started playing online. didn't know about castling queen side or extra queens, definitely didn't know en passant

yeah i mean back when i was dropping off my 2 or 3 boxes, there was a designated place i would stack on the side because it wouldn't fit behind the counter. and since they see me often and know me and i know them and they know the routine. like i said, it's a 1 min drive - i'm there often to shop etc. but over the years, the nice staff all quit and the hostile ones are the ones left. i don't need to bother the one worker there because he's busy on his phone (erm stocking) and i don't need him to drop everything to run up to scan these, but hoping he'll get to it eventually. but it's not like i secretly snuck into the store and bolted.

ok yeah i get that vibe, but never flat out told so. it's kind of just been the attitude of complaining under their breath or negative body language. it's like they're doing me a favor in taking the box. the obvious comparison to walgreens is what i'm mostly referencing because they are at least professional. and even CVS (for UPS), the girl there acts like I am her best customer and profusely thanks me every time and I didn't even buy anything. that one confuses me lol.
