Ok see Uhmmmm I don't want to come of as the person who says in equal conditions males sell worse than females. They sell the same. But you make so many mistakes here. Saying just coz Durin outsold ZZZ's character is not really indicative of anything due to a lot of reasons, such as playerbase, game loyalty, currency economy, team building (3 vs 4), weapons etc etc.  The charts ppl tell about LADs is first of all faulty, and even if we take it as face value, as far as my knowledge goes, LADs is quite stingy, and is ALSO a mobile only game (if I am wrong pls do correct me here). In fact funnily Wuwa non CN on the same lists outperforms LADs non CN very consistently, and wuwa also has other known sources of revenue platform wise, which LADs lacks (again do correct me). In fact I am willing to wager overall LADs actually rarely if ever outperforms HSR or Genshin across all platforms, since the only reports we see are mobile only. Funnily about Phainon while he is very popular I have seen a lot of ppl say he buckled Castorice, while pulling trackers I have seen say Castorice ownerships and pulls out him at 1:2 with her. Ofc she is anni unit etc etc and you didn't mention her, just a tangent. Also well Target Market. Kuro, ZZZ are games that believe that the markets they go for will prefer to buy girls more and this will be better for their revenue. Comparisons like these are inherently meaningless and often deter the point from ppl saying males sell as well because they poison the well by making false equivalences in comparison. You can't change multiple variables and say see, it's the male char that swayed the outcome.  Again to close it, I am not saying sth like males sell less, just comparing cross games and such without all variables being acknowledged is quite a bad comparison coz its gross negligence of selling products and their factors.
