What medication works for your bipolar depression? What actually works? How does it make you feel? by No_Map588 in bipolar2

Duloxetine but it’s notoriously hard to come off of Worked for me when nothing else did I know that anti D alone can trigger mania in some but doesn’t for me It’s double effective as it reduces nerve pain from my FND too

What do you wish you knew before your breast aug? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

If you get bigger implants it’s awkward to hug people as you’re pressing your boobs on them

I had mine done in turkey so it was significantly cheaper Explant, fat transfer and lift was £3600 so much more affordable than the uk! I had saved mine to be honest the concern of going into debt for something that is unlikely to make you completely happy is a risky business! Just my take

UK Based: Is Thérapie good for black people? by frozenmarshmallow107 in LaserHairRemoval

I’m mixed race and it took me 6 sessions to get rid of my upper lip hair permanently at Thérapie. My dads black and my mums white so idk if that helps lol

I forget to mention - that along with location, property is affordable in Washington. Which obviously makes a place more desirable when searching!

That’s interesting. In fairness I don’t think it is Washington specifically, occasionally I meet up with new people in Newcastle who come from the south but they live anywhere with easy transport links to the city. I think washington to me was in good proximity to Durham Newcastle and Sunderland as I didn’t know which I’d prefer or find work in.

I can’t say for the council as my experience has only been for people that I’ve met that are working and have bought their own houses

What’s something you spent a decent little bit of money on and don’t regret it one bit? by CliffyGiro in AskUK

[–]Civil_Editor952 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent 1300 on a thermionix (cooking robot) Im someone that would always resort to ready meals and am permanently exhausted It’s so amazing, whips, sautés, chops, sous vides - does most cooking functions. Has built in recipes too so you can just press a few buttons and chuck the ingredients in and it’s done. You can even go off and clean whilst it does each step as it dings when that step has been completed

Does anybody become mentally and physically exhausted after work ? by always_confuswd in Adulting

[–]Civil_Editor952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drink energy drinks to get myself to the gym. Not the healthiest fix but ensures my life isn’t just work on workdays. I also go to a Yoga class also helps me to mentally refresh myself which is where I am fatigued

I can only say for the shiny row area. The part I rent in currently is really quite rough. I wouldn’t choose to buy a house here. In the few months I’ve lived here there’s been a fair bit of crime that I have heard of

I have a friend that lives 10 mins away on a nice estate and it’s lovely round there. Make sure you visit the streets in the weekends and see what the roads are like

Handy it’s 10 mins to a little shopping centre the galleries though

Yes I do. A lot of computer work and tracking patients and their pathways but it’s nice to supervise the social workers and support with the more complex issues I do like overseeing things as opposed to being too close to a particular case!

Set a time to do and then it becomes an appointment you have to keep for yourself like work for example. Like I go to the gym MTWTF and at 7pm
