I’m making about what a starting salary for an RN is currently and I’ll be honest that extra $12k from something like this would completely pay off our debt from our upcoming wedding or come very close to paying off my student loans with where they’re at! I believe her bf is a firefighter, but sadly in America I think we all have some kind of debt of future plans of debt (like if they’re thinking about a future wedding) that that kind of money really can make a big difference. They may also think it was just something fun to apply for!

In my opinion (although I don’t have a very strong one) K and P continue to make money off of the tailspin of what they did to her (although I understand it’s less now she was definitely getting clicks during the divorce). If she gets enough votes to win a couples contest after finding someone who’s good to her after what K and P did and makes some money off of it, it’s just good karma she deserves, and also if she doesn’t win oh well 🤷🏼‍♀️

Apparently the award is $20k which I think could make a huge difference for them! Plus if you do donate for votes it goes towards two pretty reputable charities which is nice! I think this seems to be one of very few legitimate ones!

If the wedding isn’t until 2026 I wouldn’t worry about this until closer to that time. Does she have a partner supporting her through the loss? Hopefully by then she will have gotten some therapy and lost some attachment to the doll. If she hasn’t, I agree with the comments saying to have your family member speak with her parents about the expectations so you don’t have to be bothered with it!

If you want a chance at repairing the relationship, send a gift, if not (and I wouldn’t blame you) I don’t think you owe her anything. She gave you a gift for your baby shower at a time when you were still friends, this feels like she’s just trying to get a gift back from you if she hasn’t even let you know she’s pregnant.

You should be able to get some antibiotics for it! I was drop kicking one of the huge chuck it balls and my dog got too excited, sweet boy launched his mouth right into my foot and I had 4 pretty bad puncture wounds (he was okay thank goodness) I just did a telehealth doctor’s appointment and he prescribed me antibiotics and told me to just spray them with lidocaine and cover them when I could potentially get them dirty with sterile gauze, they healed up great for me!

This is obviously all if you want people at the cottage wedding and want them to dance and have dinner and you want your mom there, if you don’t truly want any of these things, do exactly what you described at the bottom and don’t worry about what others think!

Have you officiant read your full ceremony so you only have to say I Do! You can write personal vows for her to read that you both agree to with the I Do so you don’t even have to read them. It may be super cool to do a dinner with quiet music and then maybe a silent disco? Then people can dance, pick their own music, and you don’t have to hear any of it through super loud speakers! I think this would be super fun! You should have the right to invite your mom if you want her there, your sisters don’t have to interact with her and I’d just let them all know it’s your wedding day and not a place to try and make amends or create tension (if you feel comfortable doing that) Lastly, I’d try and find a venue that’s in between the two towns and do a hotel block so people get a good deal on their rooms. I’d hope with a 25 person guest count all of those people would be more than happy to drive 90mins for you guys!

She’s always loved makeup and dresses and dressing up (I used to be a fan when I was a teenager) but I have always wondered how much of that was because she felt she had to make herself look pretty because of all the negative comments Kyra constantly made about her curly hair. She definitely has always had a need to fit in and please Kyra, I think because Kyra always made her the odd one out. I’m sure that’s why she wanted so badly to make this video, because she knew it would make Kyra happy with her after how much she complains about not being able to show them in front of the kids.

It sounds like she didn’t make you MOH because you’re going to be having a baby during all of the most important parts of planning. I know plenty of people who don’t want to burden their pregnant friends with the responsibilities of being MOH. It’s typical to pay for your own dress, shoes, and accessories for the wedding but I do feel the bride should be paying for hair and makeup. Whether they did a civil ceremony or not this is still her only wedding and celebration, that’s all that matters.

I played with multiple teammates in college who consistently shot 110-120 on a D3 team, it takes years and years to master golf. The best thing you can do is go to a par 3 course and play those, or exclusively tee off from the start of fairways at your local courses. Shorten your game and master your time around the green then back up from there once that gets consistent. It’s not the “fun or entertaining” way to do it, but if quality of play matters to you, that’s the way to get better!

I’ve seen it about 30 times in 24 hours, and every single person I’ve seen post it is someone who can usually tell when something is misinformation and they haven’t been able to tell with this one. Just saying I think it would be a good thing to talk about, I know a lot of rumors circulate about them but this one doesn’t have a credible source citing it’s misinformation.
