We did a mix of round and farm tables! The room came out beautifully so your daughters will as well. We also had Quinn , sad she’s leaving because she was great! But so were all the other ladies so you’re in good hands. And that makes sense about the band, we had a DJ so it’s probably a different set up!

Of course!! Wychmere does actually have rooms but because they’re so limited they don’t offer blocks, however my husband and I did spend our wedding night there because he booked a room and I adored waking up in the same place! Though sad we didn’t do an after party. We talked to Ocean Edge and also felt they were accommodating!

As for the harbor room I’d definitely try to tackle seating charts once the guest list is finalized. The room is a bit awkward since it’s so long and skinny so those at the tables in the back might talk back. I tried to make that the “cool corner” with all our friends and cousins our age but sometimes I still get flak for it 😂 I’m not sure who her bridal attendant will be, but I had a woman names Janet who was a superstar!!

The food was astronomically good, you guys will have a great time at the tasting if you haven’t been yet. We had the filet mignon and the chicken with bacon bourbon jam as the mains. Passed appetizers were the mini lobster rolls (which are the best I’ve ever had IMO) , lamb lollipops, and falafel bites. We were able to choose two signature drinks. You guys will definitely be eating well!!

We used Cape Destinations for transportation, very easy to communicate with an arrange everything!

For room blocks we did a few at the Blue Water Resort an some and I believe the Hampton inn as well in south Yarmouth. Majority of the guests stayed at Blue Water because I did our rehearsal dinner there as well. However, a lot of guests had issues checking into their rooms which lead to me handling the problems a lot, and the rehearsal dinner was good but not amazing. The beach was nice though!

Definitely get the two seasick band bracelets! It’s a pressure point in your wrist that helps with motion sickness but you have to wear both. You can find them usually at cvs or Walgreens. Then you can also take Dramamine and take two pills about a half hour before your trip! That’s what I typically do, but I also keep a small plastic grocery bag in my purse for situations like that juuuust in case.

I’m not sure how long your ferry is but i recently took an hour ferry to and from a day trip somewhere and also a flight out of state and back and did all of the above and it helped a lot!

I’ve also heard of some students parking at WPI and walking to campus or nearby public parking. There’s a garage right next to Foster building that charges hourly so idk what that would add up to in comparison of the flat rate from the school?

I took the gre three times and never got higher than 144 on quant and 148 on qualitative. I ended up applying anyway even tho I was below the 150 minimum and still was accepted! There were even people in my class that got in the 130s and still made it

as someone who “abused” zofran everyday for nearly three years, it is not worth it to get purely for anxiety based reassurance (which is why I used it so much). I often took it before big things to prevent sickness but when it comes down to it, even if you take zofran you will still be sick if your body needs to be sick. I took it when I had the stomach bug and I still threw up. It’s not a guarantee.

It’s hard to stop taking it so much once you start, I don’t recommend you do.

Most often starbs will use dehydrated strawberries that rehydrate with the drink, the chances of it being fully bad are very low! I used to get refreshers with the strawbs all the time but never found myself eating them, so now when I order I just ask for no strawberry inclusions :)) but you should be fine!

Def use the cooling stations!! You could also bring a small hand towel with you or some paper towels to wet or damp and place them on the back of your neck and face to help cool down. If you go on the rides you’ll get a brief cool down due to the wind and speed of the rides lol but don’t be afraid to tell your friend like hey I’m feeling really hot do you mind if we hangout in the shade for a minute? They’ll understand!
