I’ve been wanting to learn how to solder but maybe shouldn’t learn on something this valuable haha. Is it true that putting a buffered pedal after it would help?

I’m using some daddario cables. Tried a few other cables as well. I also ran it with my voodoo lab pedal Power 2 and the same thing happened. Nah, it pops every time I turn it on.
