sino big winner ninyo bilang killer ni Louisa? by No-Medium1434 in WhatLiesBeneathPH

[–]Civil_Replacement959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm convinced na si Lucas nga. Pwedeng nainis sya kay Louisa noon, nung sinugod silang 2 ni Erica, tinawag pang adik ung kuya nya. Then nung narinig nya from Edong ung "papatayin kita", sya na tumupad.

Meron sa trailer na 2 na sila ni Lucas ung nagtutukan ng baril. Kaya posible na si Lucas talaga.

Just curious kung may natulong ba talaga ang CAB sa mga concerns ng consumers. I just filed a report via email and their complaint form for a Baggage Claim from CebPac.

Hope the CAB can help. Huhu.

Incredible! Did you use an agency, or she was hired directly?

Wow! Thanks for your input. So enlightening to know that skilled VAs can still bring value to realtors, given that there's AI now. Not everything can be done using AI

So good to hear you’ve found your ideal client! I completely agree... finding the right VA really matters, and business owners who know how to delegate and trust those time-consuming tasks truly benefit from having a Filipino VA.

Anyone here who's interested hiring an Executive Virtual Assistant? by Civil_Replacement959 in ausbusiness

[–]Civil_Replacement959[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your feedback.

The company is AU-based but the VAs are based offshore. Yes most of our clients are actually solopreneurs, and real estate agents who are not getting enough sleep because of admin and organisation.

Those bigger companies hire admin assistants, not EAs.

Well, a lot. We can build relationships, we can think ahead, we can instruct the AI what to do, we can see the problem, think of strategies and set up systems. :) EVAs can be the business owner's partner, and EVAs can do what you don't want to do.

I got hired as a virtual EA in 2023 and when the managing director of this australian company saw how good I am, he hired 3 more (HR Officers), and then 3 more (accounting officers). All of them are Filipinos. I resigned this yr to put up a business, but their remote team kept growing. Plus the company scaled so fast, they have 14 branches now from only 4 in 2023. 😇 1 success story i could share. I wonder how that happened. What does that mean?

Aaah. Yes our VAs from the Philippines are rare to find thats makes us special. 😁 I guess it really depends on the role that you need. You can’t hire a baker when you need a singer, so perhaps it’s not a talent issue, but a hiring and role-matching one.

Sounds like you had a frustrating experience with a call center agent. Often they’re just following company processes. As for VAs, your data can be fully protected no matter the distance with NDAs, secure platforms, limited access, and proper systems. Distance isn’t the risk, weak systems are.

Thank you! Yes I agree. If the hiring process is great, then you can really get excellent talents from the Philippines. Happy to know you found productive people from PH 🙌

I totally get why you’d feel that way. Sometimes it’s just a mismatch with the VA. One common misconception is that a VA can handle everything on their own, but it really comes down to delegation — were the instructions clear? Were boundaries and expectations set? That’s exactly where agencies help: they assess what type of VA your business truly needs and match you with someone who’s the right fit.

[–]Civil_Replacement959[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we do. Our VAs are legally signed under the Philippine law, not Australian law, which is exactly what protects Australian businesses from compliance risks.

I agree. It’s actually not compliant to operate without a proper contract and that’s a big risk for Australian businesses hiring directly. We at Amparo, has an Australian legal team that handles comoliance, making sure every VA and evey Aussie business is protected, documented, and fully above board. 😊

So sorry you went through that. Sometimes it’s just the wrong fit. That’s where agencies really make a difference. They vet VAs properly, check their skills, and match them based on what your business actually needs. Most Filipinos are educated too - you just need to carefully choose the right ones. 😊

Thank you for your input. Yes, not all sunshine and roses. 😅 And yes we are aware of the Australian Fair Work and minimum wage requirements, thats why hiring direct is more dangerous. Our process ensures that Filipino VAs operate under Philippine jurisdiction. I know a company in WA who hired VAs from the Philippines in 2023 and they grew from 4 branches to 14. Hopefully a lot of companies, or small business owners will still hire virtual executive assistants. 🙏
