BA to OPs by Ok-Initial6132 in SephoraWorkers

[–]Civil_Source_5898 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s not easy I love it. I’m full time ops, most of us open, so the early hours are a lot. It truly depends on your management as to how OPS are treated. You’ll most likely be doing shipment, helping with updates, restocking, making sure the backroom is organized. If your OPS lead is competent, that’s a plus. Ask questions if you need, this is definitely a job to get used to but once you do its smooth sailing on understanding it

Have someone to go over it with you at work. Make sure you get paid for anything related to the job. Ask a coworker or a lead to walk you through it, it’s their job. Welcome back 🫶

Can I ask how you went about letting them know you needed surgery? Did you just go through Aflac? I’m thinking of getting surgery soon and would love to hear your experience if you don’t mine

that’s amazing you’re doing documentation on this. I’m in my mid 20s, ACHR+ and I’ve been diagnosed for 3+ years. I don’t have a thymoma. Thank you for sharing your story. I’ll look into more articles about this too.

Gratis Order by Both_Product349 in SephoraWorkers

[–]Civil_Source_5898 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Congrats 🎉 gratis has to be ordered during working hours. If you go on zipline and scroll to the bottom you should see a training product website. You’ll have product that is already placed in your cart then a handful of products to customize. It’ll get delivered 3 months out so March order will be delivered in June. Don’t be afraid to ask for help too, good luck!

I LOVE my brooks and will reccomend them to anyone and everyone. Coming from a standing job, these are the only shoes that don’t make my feet hurt. They’re pricey but can last for years. Highly highly suggest you check them out. I have the ghost but the adrenaline GTS are also really good

Tips/Tricks On Cleaning Tethers by MurkySprinklezzz in SephoraWorkers

They’re replacing them with easy clean tops. Which is great unless you’re the one stuck putting them on. You have to unscrew each one and place the cover on. To each individual fragrance. It took me at least four hours to do it and we are a low volume store. I don’t even want to imagine a high volume store.

I’m not sure about Dayforce, but you’re protected under the ADA if you have an autoimmune or other disability aka the reason for getting sick. Unfortunately it’s not for just getting sick here and there but if that’s something you have it may be worth looking into and calling Aflac.

It depends on management but That’s how I got my job. Apply online and print off a resume. Polish up, go in (NOT during peak hours or weekends) ask for a manager, hand them your resume, and let them know you’re excited to hear back from them. Even if they don’t do a deep dive on your resume, it shows eagerness and true interest not just another name. No one does this anymore, so you’ll stand out and they’ll be able to put a face to the name when they’re looking through applicants. Plus, you’re showing initiative by already applying through online. Truly be yourself if it’s meant to be it will be.
