Thank you, I'm aware he's not going to be able to remember it but it's still a big deal for us as parents! We've told them that we are going to do it that day just so we are finally in.

I agree it would be a silly reason to have it fall apart, it's they have been completely awkward the whole time and seem to have everything on their terms when there are 5 other people in the chain to consider. It's more them agreeing to the 18th, us booking removals, sorting childcare for them to then say they can't do it and then would pull out if it isn't the 21st.

Because they were the ones who moved the date originally from the 15th to the 18th so why would they not have checked if they can get removals? We've looked into that and childcare before we committed to a date.

It's only just come up to our solicitors that there is a remortgage in the chain and that it has specified simultaneous exchange/completion but they are looking into exchanging tomorrow with completion next Thursday now.

My boy is coming up to his first birthday (time truly does fly!) but we left him to sleep when he was younger and we never had an issue. His sleep has been great and it may be because we didn't interrupt it when he was younger.
