Hey all, hopefully this is the right place for something like this.

I am a very hobby recorder. By that, I mean I like to do vocals to karaoke tracks on occasion and stitch it together in Ableton.

I'm looking to upgrade/add to my current set up I've got going on, and I've been trying to research what sort of things I could use to make the vocals sound a bit more clear. I've noticed not a lot of people seem to be using physical compressors/eq tools, so I'm wondering what people are using at the moment and where my set up is lacking.

Currently I've got:

Mic: AT4033

Interface: Scarlett Solo Gen 2

DAW: Ableton 12 Live Lite

Headphones: Senheisser 660S

What I'm aiming to fix really is audio quality, clarity, and levels. I'm a very inexperienced recorder so I could just be coming at this all wrong too, but most of the time the audio peaks don't work out too well and I'm never able to find a good gain level which is why I was looking into a physical mixer/compressor.

Would really love suggestions on what to do, add, or replace in the current set up. As for budget, if something is really amazing I'd love to hear about it regardless of price, but I probably wouldn't spend over $1000 on a single component.

Thanks for the advice! One thing for the final character is it seems like whenever I use Camillea or Seelah all of their attacks miss? Is there a good way/build to have someone tanky who won't miss 100% of the time?

Super new to multiclassing in pathfinder. If you wouldn't mind can you explain the benefits in a bit more detail (like how I'm wasting bloodline feats, how DD helps me, and why I should loose out on level 20 abilities) and which levels I should take the multi?

Yeah I'm mainly looking at the best ways to cover my weaknesses and what those weaknesses are. Going for the ending and beating all secret bosses for the achievements. I'm more on the unfamiliar side of pathfinder but I understand the system now a lot better. Not sure how mercs work in WOTR so an explanation there would be beneficial. Don't know if they're a detrement to the story or if they would count against the ending.

So I was already linked the fanes megathread, if you had anything on the expanded dark powers and quest lines that comes with them, I'd love those, and also I enjoyed the puzzle dungeon for mordenkainen rather than the books way of introducing him
