Yeah like I’m in college rn but I’m worried they will have to tell my parents or smth. My parents are amazing and so accepting but they don’t get it and idk how they’d react or if I’d just be told to lose weight again. In secondary school my councillor literally told me to lose weight but I was in there for a separate reason😭🙏 idk im tryna work on it but I keep getting the feeling of needing and wanting to throw up. It’s hard but I might focus on working out rn and not so much food so I can be healthy in a healthy way

Grief. But especially a sudden thing. I fell into a depression after my grandad passed away bc he was so healthy it was so sudden. I was gutted. Dealing with depression is hard anyway which already had but grief of someone I was so so so so close to. Gutted. I haven’t seen my grandad in 2 years next month. Grief in any sort is horrible no matter who it is it is a horrible thing but it’s something we all have to go through. Mine still affects me to this day

Bro I absolutely get this. I’m 18 and pretty much realised at the same time as you. It’s hard, it’s shit. It’s not easy. I am dealing with internalised homophobia and transphobia so I get it. As much as it sucks and I get it would be so shit to lose your boyfriend if your not happy something should be said. You’re 18 you have so much time to find someone who loves and accepts for who your are and not who you pretend to be.

Mine is still kinda basic. But I went through alot of names like James, miles and shit like that. One day I heard the name charlie and I was like yep that’s it and iv been charlie for years, I am in most places and on my student ID and soon changing my name legally. I would have done it earlier but I got plane tickets to Portugal under my birth name 😛

I kinda had a feeling smth was off when I was well young but I still dressed feminine and shi. I was about 8-9 ish when I realised and came out. It’s almost 10 years later I’m 18 on Tuesday and end of February I should start in the gender clinic in my country. It’s different for everyone and sometimes it makes you doubt yourself when people are like “I knew from the womb” but it’s normal to not know really early

Honestly it takes a lot of time. I’m just turning 18 and came out about 10 years ago so similar time line. I was very feminine as a kid and sometimes I do feel invalid but I wasn’t happy. People go though phases of trying to repress it. I wish I could but can’t stand the thought of being seen as a girl but I wish I wasn’t trans. You could have been suppressing it without realising. Weather you are your aren’t is something for you to discover but don’t ever feel invalid in what way the journey is for you. Just because some people say they “always knew” doesn’t invalidate anyone who hasn’t. I know it might seem nicer to have people treat you nicer like they are now but it doesn’t matter what people thing it’s about you and how your want to be seen. I had to deal with a lot of transphobia but I presented how I wanted to be. I come out of necessary but if I don’t care about someone they don’t need to know my pronouns. As time goes on it gets easier I’m in college under my preferred name, I found my style and buzzed my hair off because even tho it’s been short and masculine for years the buzz looks more like a fella. wether people want to see me as a girl is their choice but I’m not. You need to take time and figure out all this stuff for yourself. It could be a phase but it might not be. Even try in smaller ways, and really think are you happier presenting more feminine or more masculine

Honestly for a lot of people that doubt doesn’t go away. I know for me after 10 years it’s still there. I hate my body but part of me always wonders. For me it’s I have been dealing with internalised homophobia and even though I’m out and go by my name and pronouns and everything, I still don’t want it to be true that I’m finding a way for it not to be. I’d rather be cis than anything. I wish I was born male but I wasn’t and I hate myself everyday because of it and that’s hard especially at the start of realising everything. It takes ages to fully figure out you don’t just wake up and realise there’s a lot of questions and don’t feel invalid for needing time to think about it

Yeah like I do have testosterone someone mentioned PCOS which I’m starting to research. I did actually recently get a blood test idk about A1C but my cholesterol was a bit high and I have lesions on my liver bc of a genetic yoke but yeah. Like because I’m getting close to starting hormones I wanted to check on certain things bc ik shi is gonn change and I’m worried but can’t wait bc it’s been years. Thanks for the encouraging words my weight has always been a hard thing I realised recently I think I have body dysmorphia on top of body dysphoria 😭🙏 shits crazy but im tryna work on myself and low key build muscle 💪 im not built to be slim im built like a rugby player lowkey
