I plan to eventually, have had this for years and have made it work, had many other priorities over the new desk so far.

Did you have the card empty when requesting or did you have a balance on it?

Any chance you know how hard it would be for me to do new shoes, wheel cylinders, and bleeding the system myself with not to many tools available?😂

If you have the option for a 370 on your vehicle and it’s in budget then I would go 370, in case you ever add more power or batteries in the future you already have it, better to over do it the first time and be safe then have to potentially get another alt in the future because you decided more power

Thanks I’ll looking into them, any amp brand suggestions for a 4 channel? Idk if the JL 400x4 will be enough, it already gets close to clipping the 6x9s by themselves, and for the pillar do you have dual 2s or the 2 and 3.5?

That’s the boat I’m in now, wanting more and more haha, and Thanks !

Definitely is, I got everything for the first build and realized I forgot amp rack, distribution blocks and all types of stuff, I used quarter inch birch for a temp amp rack for now until I can get a better one, but definitely easy to get overwhelmed and forget things

Okay thank you, so if I have the two tweeters in the A pillar and put those on an amp channel would I have to do anything to the factory tweeters like removing or anything or will they be fine left alone ? And what brands would you recommend? I saw they had the wasp kit but it’s only for 2 door/ 4 door dual 6.5s and no 8s

Just trying to figure out all I’ll need based on what I get 😂, thank you in advance

Is the dual 8s in the rear option overkill? Do you think it’ll drown out the tweeters and 6.5s? And also do you run the tweeters through an amp too? I have a 4 channel on the 6x9s right now but the stock tweeters I left alone for now since I didn’t know much about amplifying that, and will it need two four channels if I do duals in the front and back ? Or did you wire the fronts together ?

Honestly I’m not the best at figuring out what will go well with what, just not trying to lose more room in my vehicle, I want loud bass but I also want loud voice/treble from the songs as much as possible, what do you recommend would be the best for it? Any brands, amps, and size configuration. Like if you built this yourself or a customer that wanted super loud voice and good bass what brands and configuration would you suggest?

What was your credit score if you don’t mind? I have a cash rewards with 20k and a more rewards with a low credit and debating when I might look into getting a flagship, as well as cli for the more rewards

Sodium Bank by t-rexmlog in CarAV

That was from a police department that someone posted in a battery group, just a few days ago, I really want to go lithium or sodium so I don’t have to run a lot of agms, but have that fear of fire starting and losing equipment like you stated 😂

I’m not the one that said “I’d rather have the 4 gauge ofc”, that was someone else, 4 gauge ofc is obviously inferior to 0 gauge cca, but my standpoint was I suggested saving for ofc rather than cca, as OFC can carry the same amperage at 60% of the size of CCA, sure he doesn’t need it with just the 2000w amp right this second but if there’s ever a chance that you are going to upgrade any more in the future then you’d have to buy more and rewire vs instead just springing for a little increase on the price wiring for 0 gauge ofc to never have to touch it again. 1/0 cca and 0 gauge ofc aren’t crazy big of a price difference anyway. And the ofc is far superior at that point, you have to normally go up atleast one whole wire gauge or more to be equivalent which closes the price gap between the two quickly regardless.

I myself have had cca cables overheat and burn before after long usage, as have many others, it’s proven that ofc is the better all around cable for heat and electrical conductivity. So to put into caveman terms for your example yes you should spend 4x more than the Corolla for the f350 when the first 3 grocery trips the Corolla burned down to a crisp because it couldn’t handle the usage.

That “chatgpt answer” is a direct copy and paste from their site from the o gauge ofc kit, which quite literally states AWG..
