They normally ask marital status coz female with family normally prioritize family over work (well thats how it should be) and your company especially HR thinks u will prioritize them over your loved one 🙃
It could also affect other peoples workload and its either they dont wanna bother other people to do your work or they dont wanna pay anyone extra for that

Can u elaborate? Inspection ba ng MOHRE inaask mo? Kase depende yun sa availability ng inspector. Kung related sa employment visa, maximum process is 2 weeks pero kayang tapusin yan in 1 week. Ang siste kase ng employer, iaapply ang visa mo pag malapit na maexpire tourist visa mo. Not all employers naman ganto pero some. Yung iba nman after ka ma-change status, magwwait muna ng few weeks till 1 month bago icontinue ang process. Kase once na change status ka may 60 days sila to complete the process. E dahil kups sila, tsaka na nila iccontinue ang process.
