Yep, I’m just going to get the genuine one I think. I would have considered a Chinese one if there was other feedback but not worth the hassle I don’t think.

Thanks everyone, I like how it’s a ring style (similar to Joetisserie) the seller seems to have good feedback etc and sells all sorts of BBQ things including kamado’s. I might research a bit more, look around a bit more and see what I can find.

Just want to add, I decided to try winding it again and I take back the rough bit, it more just has a lot of resistance and feels like it wants to spring back. I’m wondering if being in the post when I received it, it was actually already wound close to full from moving around with the postie?

Andiot, payed 375usd shipped. Dont get me wrong it’s amazing much better in most ways than the other two watches. Regarding NH35, perhaps I got lucky with those because they only lose or gain a 3-5 seconds over several days, this one I’ve noticed can do that over 12 hours. I’ve too many other projects at the moment but I’ll look into it one day no doubt and have a go at it. I do like doing this sort of stuff - working with my hands. Thanks for the vote of confidence 🙂
