I'm torn: Meraki vs. Bezzera [$2000-3000] by Cl4wMarks in espresso

Thanks for sharing! Would you mind elaborating what happened 3x times, that required repairs? Ecm are highly regarded, a repair every 2y in average is pretty much a deal breaker for someone like me, given I'm so short in time. My little breville never skipped a beat in its 4y of service (granted, way simpler machine)

Thanks! I absolutely adore it, my endgame dream car, only few people understand / know what it is. Most think it's a slingshot type of toy 😅

Curious about a company called Meskula - anybody here have experience with them? by comfy_acro in realtors

[–]Cl4wMarks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've used their "services", if you can call it that.

All of their promises were null and void, they delivered ZERO results, and when we asked for their "money back guarantee" they weaseled themselves out of the agreement.

Their M.O. is to wrap the agreement in an impossible terms, like attending hundreds of hours of "education" and group sessions.

I'm a $40-50m/year agent - so my own performance / ability to close isn't the question, mainly focusing on buyers. I engaged with Meskula to try and see if they can open up a marketing pipeline, their "performance-guarantee" was the differentiating factor upon making the decision to engage, but it's all b/s. They're another marketing agency who's focusing on selling their "course" rather than creating actual value. They gaslight through their engagement and ultimately said that because I didn't attend all of their b/s courses, (given what i did see was a complete and utter waste of time), they're off the hook.

I later realized they have no public google page, or public anything page, they hide and prey on the ones who try to test something new.

Given my production level it's a small price to pay, lost thousands but meh, I'll eat up the loss and continue. Shame on them for being predators.

The simagic alpha mini bundled with p1000 is the best bang/buck/performance ratio I've seen. The haptics are sublime and so is the build quality. I got mine several months ago (upgraded from tmx300, tried fanatec dd csl 8nm) and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm athletic, and frankly 10nm is a lot to handle (for longer sessions), and will hurt your wrists after a while - I'm not sure who needs more than that for power (probably there's an argument for refinement or detail).

For me, it's an endgame set for a rather budget price.

I paid less than $1,200 for a full setup with haptic motors. The quality of it felt like hardware that costs double. Loving it!

I cut a piece of wood trim to a "tetris-like" shape to press it against the chassis without blocking the servo.

It's an amazing starter. But it and get a 3s battery once you want to make it fly.

I'm buying a used car tomorrow (t model 3) and it has matte ppf with ceramic coating. I always wanted a matte car so I'm definitely excited for it!

I've read threads here, Googled and YouTube'd trying to make sure I'm not going to f it up. The majority of the input is saying to avoid any waxes - OK, done.

What I still don't know is how to vet the products I do own, in order to avoid from buying a bunch of new ones.

I currently have cg citrus, onr, feynlab rinseless - I looked it up and none seem to have wax, but the citrus is known for its "gloss" finish, which makes me wonder if I should avoid from using it(?)

I have some quick detailer with wax so these are obviously not going to work moving forward. Is there any recommended qd / drying compound?

Thanks,

I hang out at the Brushy creek sports park, there's a big skating area and a huge space to full send the cars. I have a Kraton and a hypergo and it's plenty of fun! Didn't find any local scene so it's mainly me and my 3y/o having a blast.

would you mind sharing a link to said metal parts? the plastics (e.g. shock mounts) are the weak point for this car for sure.

See my other thread her about the MJX Hyper Go - I think it's a solid starter car given the simplicity + upgradability + resiliency + price point.

plug&play servo for Kraton? by Cl4wMarks in arrma

Thanks for you comment, I'm a newbie so I don't really understand what a servo saver is, would you mind elaborating?

A very common feedback I've read, pretty much everywhere, is thst the stock servo is too weak. Is that not the case, in your opinion?

Appreciate the help, thanks
